Opened a betting account and was able to deposit immediately. As soon as the deposit went in they locked my account. Assuming it was due to verification I sent in all the relevant documents and Its still locked…. The “Live chat” is utter bs you wait for hours and no reply. Stay away

Website painful. Habitually get messages that page is taking longer than expected to load and have to try again…and again…and again. Often takes a dozen attempts to connect although l usually give up before then.

Still waiting after 2 and a half weeks for an update in regards to a bonus round I didnt recieve although I provided evidence. Its like I’ve just been ignored, let me remind betway that I could have won a lot of money during this and I provided enough evidence Ie a screenshot proving this. And they still think its ok not to come back to me after 2 and a half weeks. Can’t even get through on webchat without waiting 30-45 mins to be told to wait!!! First of all the customer service is abysmal takes hours and you’re still in the same spot on the cue and if somehow you do get to talk to somone there slow and can never solve ur problem 2nd of all the site is so buggy and u can never get onto what you want to do Worst site I have ever used !

Hi All,I made a withdrawal request on 1 st Aug but from last 11 days it is still under processing. I tried reaching out to support team several times but they mentioned that account is under review. When I am asking them the time by when this account review will complete then they do not have any answers. It is really sad that betway is scamming the innocent people and robbing their hard earned money.

I won some free sports bets on their wheel of fortune game. I credited them to my account but couldnt use them. Everytime this happened I would try to go on live chat to speak to someone but it didn’t give me an option and kept redirecting me to a useless article about terms and conditions. I wanted to email instead, but surprise the only means of contact is live chat as per their website and it barely works. This has happened roughly 5-10 times. Spoke to someone finally today as it happened again, and they refused to give me my rightful winnings, refused to let me speak to a supervisor and abruptly ended the chat, saying they have “tried their hardest to reach a conclusion”. These guys are disgusting. Not being able to use winnings due to a bug or glitch is one thing, but abruptly ending the chat and refusing to rectify the issue or even get a supervisor is what is truly disgusting and unfair. I have the chat logs, and will be making a formal complaint. DO NOT USE BETWAY, as their fairness cannot be guaranteed. Simply getting into contact with them is a hurdle in itself.

Betway – without notice closed my account, I can’t log in to withdraw my monies. You cannot phone them, only live chat which is total rubbish as I was 4th in the queue at 9.02am ( it opens at 9am ) and at 10.36 I had heard nothing. So the 3 people in front of me all took over 90 minutes to resolve their queries?? No I actually think there is nobody there. All their review say we will look into your accout and get back to you. Legalised criminal activity. Do not use Betway.

Betway is a scam. I have placed withdrawal request on 1st august and its been 8 days they are still processing my withrawal amount. I tried reqching out to support team but they just give generic answers. I have sent mails but the mails are not responded.

I started off at betway around 5 years ago for sporting bets and slots.Everything seem to run ok at first but the trouble started when i had many transaction deposits declined by betway but still taken money from my bank. I calculated there was £120 one day which i had realised after a few weeks. J decided to contact them but the email was rejected. I got in touch with live support who wanted a bank statement. I did all that but nothing happened. After giving it a few weeks I contacted again down these hard pressed channels to ask about the initial query which i got asked to send a bank statement again. Finally after 3 weeks i got the £120 credited to my balance but it was heavy chasing. Then stupid me i forgive them and continued to deposit and play. After many months i realised the same was happening and i dont know where i was at with what they owe me so i sent in some statements again knowing that at least x3 £20 deposits were taken but not credited and the rest is unknown. I put a 1 star review on this platform and also received an email from betway that i should privately contact them. I did and resent my paperwork only for them to again ignore all of this. I havent bothered depositing on there site for 5/6 months now as its too unreliable. Nobody helps you or looks into anything. Any other site is acceptable to deposit and take risk when gaming but to just take the money is complete daylight robbery. Awful

I have deposited money in the betway account but when I put the withdrawal request suddenly my account is locked and they want to check source of funds. I have tried easily 20 times to contact them via the live chat which does not work, their email address listed on their website sent a auto reply email to say it is not monitored and they would not help on Twitter and kept referring me to the live chat which does not work. I really enjoyed playing on this site until July 27th 2023 using my money I got a bonus round but the site froze and the game error game up whilst I was about to play the bonus game. I took a screenshot contact customer support via email with the screenshot contacted them via on line chat and nothing I havent even been acknowledged. Betway has become a scam, no matter how much money you put in or how long you’ve been playing you just can’t win. I’ve been playing for a couple of years now, had to take a break for a couple of months, because I thought I was on a losing streak. Turns out that all the games are rigged to make you lose, everyone I know that plays on betway has confirmed my suspicions, neither of them have won a cent by betway in a long time either. I still haven’t received any email correspondence from Betway as said. How long will it take your customer service to look into my account? My account was blocked when I had a running bet of high return with only one game remaining. How on earth will you block an account that has a cashout value just to prevent me from cashing out or accessing my account. Total fraud. You need to look into this and refund the cashout value on my account at time you blocked my account.

I have been down the same road,with this excuse for a bookmakers, I have been in contact with the Gambling commission, they were very helpful.They gave me Betway email address, they replied promptly to my emails.they are now requesting proof of who I am and bank details .If you all contact the gambling commission their telephone number is on their website. Remember they have renew their bookmakers licence annually, and this can be opposed

My bank card was used on an account not belonging to me and I contacted betway to inform them, they finally responded saying they was going to reimburse all the deposits made from my card and asked I send in proof of my card and the bank statement of the account it’s linked to, I sent all of that straight away and now the company is ignoring my many emails and not returning my money, I’ve had no choice but to raise a complaint with the gambling commission and eCOGRA.
