I placed a bet for Italy to beat England in the Euros
final and placed the bet on the Match Result which as a novice to betting beloved to include extra time and penalties. I was informed by the Betfred customer support that the match result does not include E/T and Penalties and that this is stated in the betting rules. I appreciated that I should have read the Betting Rules but let's be honest who does??? Betfred could easily make this clearer when placing bets and my complaint isn't that they don't class play after the 90mins as part of the match result but rather that they don't highlight this when you place your bet. I certainly won't be using them again…

I am very experienced when it comes to online betting and know exactly what I am placing bets on and the terms.

Seems like others have also been done over.

I have placed bets with them in the last few weeks and always on betslips it clearly states 90 minutes as it suppose to.

However not on this occasion.
On the england game I placed a bet for -any player to score a penalty- and nowhere did it state 90 minutes. this clearly indicates to me it will include extra time and a penalty shootout.

Nowhere anywhere did it state 90mins, not on my betslip or the menu box prior to placing the bet.
I triple checked this before placing the bet so I knew if the game would go into extra time or penaltys I would know and route for a penalty in extra time or a shootout.

they decided to settle it as a loss when it should be a win.

Anyone moaning about how unfair their arcade/casino games are should have a good look at themselves for being stupid enough to expect a bookmaker to be freely handing over money to mug punters playing their fruit machines.

Avoid at all cost!!

I joined Betfred because of a promotion they had on! Bet 10 get 100 free spins.

They give me 50 free spins and told me I’d need to deposit another 10 in order to get the other free spins! Complete scam and false advertising! Customer service is just non existent and when they do reply to you, they just fob you off! I’ve escalated my complaint as they’ve just blanked me.

Placed a bet on the Denmark v England match – not paying out because the goal was after the planned match time. To add insult to injury, I don't get the sign up bonus because I deposited via PayPal, and Customer Services (Steven R) completely lacked any empathy. Placed a bet on England to win over Denmark, they won and betfred did not pay out because the score was 1-1 at 90 mins. The do not make this in anyway clear it's obviously a bit sneaky as this doesn't apply to the other football matches. Surprised they can get away with it.

Utter scammers. When you place a bet on football for a team to win, then you find out they won’t honour the bet with some crap about the score at 90 minutes. It’s a semi final, there has to be a damn winner even after extra time and penalties. The score was not decided at 90 minutes.

Been waiting for atleast 8 weeks for several withdrawals to go in my bank from betfred and William Hill and when i speak 2 them they tell me 2 speak with my bank. Its over 1400. disgusting customer service and offers are not what you'd expect….yesterday placed 2 bets on Greyhound meeting at Central Park unaware meeting was running 45 minutes late, site was still displaying next 2 races and i place 100 single and 30 single accordingly, I realised almost immediately that meeting was behind and I'd placed bets on races I hadn't intended to…logged on chat to see i was 20th in queue so phoned customer services immediately…took my details and explained to pleasant advisor who said she would check to see if the 2 bets could be voided as there was a clear 30 mins till off time, she came back to state manager said no hard luck basically…..then following day place a win bet which did indeed win which I had taken 2/1 about thinking I was getting B.O.G as clearly stating on site and hugely on "Pricewise" S.P. was 5/2 so was expecting to be settled at that, went on chat to query to be told by a really rude, extremely smug advisor that B.O.G does not apply to ante-post (obviously) nor "board prices" what is the bloody point stating you do B.O.G if you have so much small print? you are the only online firm I know that states B.O.G. that doesn't adhere it to "board prices"…. I even asked the smug advisor to explain exactly what "board prices" are which he failed to do, finally asked if there was anything else? I replied yes! "try not to be so smug and arrogant" to which he cut me off….

All you get from support is a series of "I told you so" and arguing they are legit! "No you didn’t tell me you could manipulate the chart to steal people’s money"!!!. I lost about €200,000 to them. Betfred was a decent company until late last month and it showed me what a scam company they are. Disabled my wallet with over $13007 in it for no reason and support couldn't help after days of no reply. I contacted Bestresolute.com and they helped me out and were able to get back my money from them.
