Went to back a horse at betfred thinking best price started at 11.am but my mistake it's 12, the horse was 7/1 everywhere but 6/1 at betfred and at bang on 12 they went 11/2 so you best price is still shorter than elsewhere (13/2 with everyone else) should have gone boylesports who give best price 8.30a.m when they open unlike betfred who wait for market moves and go a point less and then another half point less on the stroke of 12 when it's best price. Last time I bet with them!

I’m shocked so many negative reviews are left here because people have no idea of the rules of betting. I’ve been part of this industry for 24 years and anybody who thinks Betfred are the only company where a correct score bet only applies to the original 90 minute match clearly has no clue. Markets are clearly marked and, based on the fact there are separate extra time options, sense would tell you it’s 90 minutes if you can’t be bothered to read the rules. Fred gives some of the best bonuses out there and while the mobile app can be glitchy, the website itself is fine, easy to navigate, clear and concise rules(for those who bother to read them) and I am shocked trustpilot have allowed so many negative reviews based on sheer customer idiocy over what is an industry standard to remain.
Go and. Is it still me of the shops rather than use the internet in the future and you will find staff will explain all of these things to you at the counter before you place your bet. They are possibly the lowest paid but the most helpful staff in my experience and are very customer focused

Closed my account for no reason, a ‘business decision’ apparently. I had outstanding casino spins I had earned in a promotion and money in my account but they are refusing to engage further and just keep re quoting their terms which aren’t even relevant to my issue. How can they just take someone’s money with no explanation or reason? I see people have left reviews mocking people for complaining but I am sure they will understand when it happens to them which it will do. A quick Google search shows Betfred are renowned for shady practices.

The website is glitchy and a mess, doesn’t load properly, constantly logs you out, takes you randomly to a page that says their Betfred app isn’t available anymore when you aren’t even on an app or trying to get to it. Their money clearly doesn’t go into maintaining their website. Avoid this one.

Avoid slots, a win is rare lately & I've been with Betfred for several years, I honestly can't remember last time I was "up", I know I'm down thousands but whenever I try to check my balance history it says "There was a problem with your connection. Please try again", I've tried hundreds of times, seems like Betfred doesn't want you to know how much you're losing with them. Customer Services are no help at all.

For now, I haven't had any problems with Betfred, I really enjoy the site and the offers. Recently I had 2 problems and the customer service was really helpful with dealing with them.

They got concerned about my betting patterns and amounts of bets I made and how much time I spent on site, and how much I had in bank and what my employment was etc (I'm a eccentric millionaire just very bored and thought I would give Betfred some money). To sum it up I started betting money on Betfred, which is what gambling is all about isn't it, and I lost some money in their casinos, several hundred infact, without a word of concern from them about that – I made a move to sports betting which is my favourite betting anyway, and I lost some and I won some, but just as I started to profit the telephone call from the safe gambling team came. Now I have had my account closed, but luckily for me they gave me my final cash out. So, it's not quite so simple that you win some and lose some with this company, it's whether you start to win more than you lose, which in turn will make the radar point to you as a " undesirable customer" and shortly after you will have your account closed, with absolutely no chance of return because you have been a very bad boy "and won."

Lost my withdrawal. After chasing it up with my bank, they said that the withdrawal was not initiated at all and that nothing had been received. Been over a month now and still nothing. Customer service is also terrible, as the live chat consists of one singular person working at a time, which is why there's regular queues of up to 60 people. Ridiculous.

My experience with online fraudsters is something I never wished for and it pains me to know that some of us here are still going through what I experienced in the past, i needed money to help my family and sort out other financial challenges but I ended up in the hands of scammers! Absolute joke deposited some money and balance showing 0, money taken from bank. Called customer service after 30 minute wait told it’s a technical error and the money may hit the balance or be refunded back to account. Said can take up to 48 hours. Absolutely ridiculous, stolen my deposit from bank and won’t apply it to balance blaming a technical issue. Never had this issue with any other bookie.

am writing to you to raise an issue about: Gambling

The issue that I have experienced was Saturday 24/07/2021: I placed a bet on a greyhound in shop 979 betfred bromley Road and was announced its price boosted. When the greyhound won I went to collect it they paid me at Sp and are saying its boosted to 11/4 even though the greyhound returned 11/4 in every bookmakers in the country. The member of staff called customer services and he put the phone down on her which wad very wrong as a customer standing I front of the staff witnessing that. That is legalised robbery and shouldn't be allowed where betfred offers a price boost and don't pay out. Betfred are happy so long as you are losing and terrible for paying out on the boosts which is so immoral.

It occurred on: 2021-07-24

This meant that I had 20 and got paid out at 11/4 returns 75. They are holding onto my boosted returns because they feel they can.

Terrible service, wasn’t welcome to the welcome offer because it was over 7 days I made my registration only because I couldn’t find my documents to complete my account I went on live chat and spoke to an agent called “Ellis G” told them my situation and they said NO you ain’t welcome to nothing, where for example I had the same probable with ladbrokes but they understood and credited me with the offer which was lovely, these won’t do nothing like this for you , stay away they just want your money .

All the bad reviews seem to be aimed at bonuses not being applied or payouts not being paid because the wagering requirements were not met.

Getting the welcome bonuses or other promotions is nearly impossible as they make the process as confusing as possible. The terms and conditions simply aren't clear, and I'm annoyed I deposited money without getting my free spins.
