After 2 years on the website i get asked to give them information about my 'source of income'. 5 days, 17 emails, PDFs with 14 months of bank transactions "What is this?", "Who is that?" , "Why are you paying for this?" i get the final email "Unfortunately from a RG point of view we can't let you play without any steady income, so account will be locked" . Obviously bull****, if that was their policy, why not ask it when you register? Why even need 17 emails when in the first reply i stated that i didn't have a steady income? So just a heads up to everyone, do NOT give them **** and don't keep a balance on the site, just keep withdrawing. I literally gave them everything about me except my fingerprint and a blood sample. The funny thing is the last 12 months i have been betting with THEIR money. 'Oh i see you are betting using the money you won over the last 12 months? But you have no steady income!' Nice logic.

This is now 14th day and my withdrawal are stuck. Everytime they just need proof of address or IDs. I have given them every bit of it. Even bank statement, electricity bill, phone bill. They just don't want to proceed my withdrawal. Everyday they come up with new excuses. This is Indeed the worst betting app I have come across.

My betway Id is arnavsingh22 and I have been not receiving any free bets(sports promotions) since several weeks.
I get the notifications that free bets are credited but that is never the case when I actually open up the app.
Good experience with betway until this problem popped up a few weeks ago.

I had a bet on the Warrington boxing match which ended in the 2nd round due to a clash of heads. Thus a technical draw. Every fight fight betting and watching would have felt cheated. Not the fighters fault though. My friends placed bets with 3 other well know bookmakers and they voided all bets including the draw. Sadly Betway have advised me, they don’t care what the other bookmakers do. So with that in mind it is your choice to decide where to place your bets. After many years I will also think twice.

It is impossible to get any human response from Betway!
I withdrew £23 on August 16th and still haven't received it. For a while it showed in my betway account as Processing. Now it's just disappeared and i still do not have my money. Their only form of customer support is an automated chat system. Which is absolutely no help at all and doesn't answer my question. It's infuriating because you just end up going around in circles. Please can someone from Betway get in contact please.

Short yet dreadful experience with Betway. Worst bookmaker by a landslide.

Timeline:

-1) Open account 21nd of August (opting-in for their bonus)

-2) Deposit funds and make first bet (which I win).

-3) Bonus not credited. Contact customer support on 22nd August and they add it (not before having to read form the support person that "I had not opted in", which is obviously false as there is a huge checkbox during the signup process and you'd have to be blind not to see it).

-4) Place bet with bonus, which I also win, on . At this stage (22nd of August) my balance was £71

-5) 24th of August: Email from Betway, subject line:

"Important information regarding your Betway account:

"We’ve recently reviewed your Betway account – tentrastras2 – and have taken the decision that you will no longer be eligible for any sports promotions.

This means that you’ll no longer be eligible for Free Bets, Bonuses, Best Odds Guaranteed or the Betway Prize Wheel.

You can continue to bet with us as usual and any promotions you’ve already placed qualifying bets for or Free Bets recently used will not be affected.

Our decision is final and will not be overturned, but should you have any questions about any offers you have qualified for then please contact our support team.

The Betway Team"

-6) 24th of August 09:08: I put on a request to withdraw the £71 balance back to my account with ID 10733363.

-7) 3rd September: Yet to receive the funds in my account despite emailing them several times. They keep asking for the house utility bills to prove my identity, despite having told them I can't provide them (as an HMO occupier, utility bills are in the landlord's name).
Seem to ignore my driving licence, bank and credit card statements.
If you're going to place all these obstacles paying out, maybe you should also apply the same checks when funds are being deposited, don't you think?

Next steps:

– Requested to close my account (actioned)
– Requested them to delete all my personal data according to article 17 of GDPR (right to be forgotten).
– Formal complaint raised. If I haven't received my winnings by end of UK business hours on Monday 6th of September 2021 I will proceed to escalate my complaint to the regulatory bodies:

– Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS)
– UKGC
– Advertising Standards Agency

This is NOT a fair way to treat customers. Pretty sure if I had lost my money they would have been happy to keep me around.

Would give a no star review if I could. Limited my account after I used a new customer sign up offer that they themselves advertise. Withdrew £30 from my account as was fed up of it and its still not been paid. Does not even show up in your withdrawals on your account. Absolutely impossible to get hold of anyone, their "live chat" is an automated system. So they have basically robbed me, AVOID THEM.

Requested the account to be closed permanently- 1997 – ignored and left it open

Ignored that I was registered with Gamstop for 3 months

Responsible gambling team put a limit on my account for each month after proving income which was fine. The next month this was unlimited even though I had requested an increase initially and they had declined .

I won a fairly substansial bet earlier tonight and after it was deposited in Betway bank I withdrew most of it. As soon as I hit the button to etransfer it to my bank the page went blank and the withdrawl simply disappeared?? Like what the hell???? I had two previous withdrawls that had been paid out that the receipts for those disappeared as well!!! Im reading all the negative

Made two withdrawals one for £600 and one for £800 but still haven’t received the money and it doesn’t even show as pending in my transaction history. Beltway are happy to take your money but don’t payout when you win. Basically been robbed. Live chat doesn’t help and have never been contacted back. AVOID BETWAY

I had big problems with this company, I wrote all the details, they kept my account open even though I had so many problems, they did not close it even once, I wouldn't have withdrawn much money until last week, but for the first time, I thought I'd withdraw at least small money for 3 days in a row, you know they are very, very bad at win/loss ratio anyway, but because I have withdrawn a little from my account in the last 3 days, they blocked my account!

I have withdrawn 2810$ over 2 months ago and funds never reached my account after 100s of mails and chats with agent and after that,1 week ago i have withdrawn 3000$ and no sign of that either.Didnt have any problems depositing or withdrawing money before (had many transactions) but now I am feeling robbed and Betway is driving me around after so much waiting and no funds YET!

Always been fairly happy with them and used them for sports betting for a long time without a problem. However my first interaction with customer services has been hopeless. Been awaiting return of a stake that should have been voided for three days now.

There is a link to live chat on the uk website but all you get is an automated bot which is no use at all. With no other apparent way of contacting them this is pretty poor.

Prize wheel is awful. I actually took a month time out recently because the normal prize wheel never spins in a win. Think I've spun a win once in 50 spins. Super prize wheel is even worse. Most you get is 3 free spins at 20p.

Betway India site is genuine. The customer service has always treated me well. You may have to wait for some time to chat with the customer service, but it is ok due to the queue. I have won and lost, but never felt cheated. There was a time when the site didn't refund a faulty game. I submitted the case with the Game Id to the Customer service. it took 2 months for their analysis and finding, but they refunded it. So, I think there is a good team with established process working behind the betway India site. Somehow took time to write this positive note after using this site for 1 year,

I have written and edited many times before. Since I have reached the final stage, I have deleted those messages and I am sharing my current and latest experiences and experiences with you.

First of all, I would like to say to those who are members here that these are my personal experiences. I don't know what you'll experience, but as far as I can see, this is the bet company with the worst RTP rate ever!

You are losing mindlessly. You can't even get close to the return rates written in the games! The last time I found out I did over 110,000 spins and let me tell you, I haven't been able to get over 1000+ pound even once. My daily limit is 500 pounds deposit, I haven't doubled once yet. Fraud company. If bychance your deposit amount to betway account get some error from error and the amount has deducted from your bank account. Betway will neither reverse it in bank account nor in betway account. That is for sure!!

It's now been 1 FULL YEAR since I wrote a complaint here, about a bet I've had since August 15th 2020. They have STILL NOT PAID IT and are saying "an investigation is going on from 3rd party"

Bare in mind, they have NOT given ANY UPDATES FOR A FULL YEAR, NOT given ANY information to the bet what so ever, also most importantly NOT PAID OUT THE BET.

They're basically using this "investigation" bs as a valid excuse to scam the customers. If there was an "investigation" it surely wouldn't take 1 FULL YEAR and we would somewhat get some info after asking numerous times for it. Another bs company that I advise everybody to STAY AWAY FROM. Do NOT USE BETWAY, there are better bookmakers out there like Bet365, SBTech, Kambi etc.

With that being said I will never see my money again as Betway has basically scammed me. Again, stay away from these morons.

From UK, been using for a month now and have had no significant problems with deposits or withdrawals when using my PayPal or bank. Whenever I need to check on withdrawal status, the support are quick to tell me the times and its status which is nice.
Also I recently had a problem with a withdrawal and the support helped me in updating my withdrawal method so I got my money.
Only problem I've had is that the support can sometimes be a bit less on the detailed side (individual customer focussed) although I'm guessing this is because they are very busy and handle a lot of people.
Overall a good service.

This app is the worst I have ever had. Constantly freezing during bet attempts, when you try to contact them using live chat, it doesn't work, just goes around in circles. Only yesterday I was trying to place a bet on a big GAA football game on the underdog, Mayo to win and it stayed dead for ever, cost me a big win. I can't wait to get rid of it.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE. I have been trying to withdraw my winnings now for my over a month having been allowed to deposit on a card with an incorrect expiry date but not allowed to withdraw from this exact same card with no option to remove the card from payment options. There is no productive help from the chat support (having used this over 6 times now in order to resolve this single issue), no active phone number to call and absolutley no help from their supposed manager email. The service received is unprofessional and simply put poor by your standards. I tried to load a 1 voucher and it refused to load. I contacted sent proof and spoke to 3 consultants over a 24 hour period and still nothing. The response I received from all three is that it's been escalated and still no response. May i kindly request that someone senior contact me to resolve this matter as soon as possible.
