Speedy customer service response by Betfair to reset my password & confirm my username which i needed to do because its been a while since i last logged in.All sorted satisfactorily, it took about 25 minutes because they needed to ensure that i was genuinely the owner of the account which ensured a secure result for us all..

No documentation is needed at the start to sign up, deposit money and then gamble. However, when you want to withdraw the money then your account is suspended and you need to show your driving licence, the card you used and copy of your bills. Its very unprofessional and poor way to do business targeting people to gamble further as its hard to withdraw. Havnt had this issue with any other sites except this one.

Only my second ever foray within Betfair. I have 2 winners and they have taken my £1523 money for bets i have lost. But will not pay out my winnings, Two lay bets. I have been communicating via live chat (Virtual Assistant) as there seems to be no other way to communicate – no numbers etc. Why are the regulatory authorities onto this Company!? Perhaps they are as incompetent , dare I say corrupt as what this lot seem to be.

BE AWARE ! This company is run by criminals.Once you deposit you won’t see your money again !!!No matter you win or loose you won’t see your money again!!! They allowed me to open an account deposit without Id,once I lost one bet, they suspended my account without asking for more private information. Then I provided all documents requested, like ID, driving license, proof of address, proof of incomes but it did not help, they closed my account.So no account and no deposited money. How on Earth such a scam could be legally operated in the UK.

Their help desk is always active and the staff very good. I did have one incident where I laid bets at 1.01 to withdraw some of my winnings but nothing happened. They weren’t matched as lays but they changed them to win bets and I lost my money which confused me completely so I gave up. To be honest I have no clue on how that happens but apart from that I am very happy with their service

STAY AWAY FROM SCAMMER. LIVE CASINO TOOK ALL my money no return. Slots are dead. Betting experience is worst. I bet on football match. My team was winning and goal was 2-3, I cased out money to get some profit as I had too much loss with Betfair. Cashout was successful but I got only bet amount not profit. IN bet history its not showing bet/ settled bet so my bet history they deleted. I contacted customer service but the guy was not listening and just sending me pre written standard messages in reply. This is very poor company as most of the gambling sites gives win but this BETFARE is scam and cheater. DONT PALY or BET. Try other trusted sites. Happy to accept my deposit, as soon as I go to withdraw they suspend my account….Live chat first person is very rude and cuts the call…. Second “advisor” tells me to re upload my lifes history to access winnings that are my own and then tells me could take 48-72 hours to review… By then my new player bonus is almost run out.Very hard to navigate site, out of date graphics… Avoid this betting site!

Absolutely terrible.NO contact number- absolutely NONENO email (not ONE email address)Only a message box that can literally (incredible as it may seem) take an hour and a half before you actually connect to an agent who knows nothing and just raises a ticket which is never answered.Stay well away from them as I have been trying to gain access to my legitimate funds for a month and still have runaround.Have 4 unanswered tickets with some folk telling me it takes MONTHS to reply.When you start winning you will find you cannot withdraw your funds. Even small amounts!

I had difficulty placing a free £5 bet that I had been rewarded. I went through the “help” process but unfortunately the virtual assistant thought it knew what I wanted, but it didn’t. Round and round we went, always arriving at the wrong answer. The virtual assistant didn’t seem to get upset. It seemed to be in a fine mood; jolly, happy, always ready to take me around again. So I steered it towards putting me in front of a human agent and that was where Ganesh arrived on the scene.”Do this, do that, try this but send me a screenshot before you place your bet. Yes, that will work. Place your bet.” Voila! Success!! Ganesh was Betfair’s star of the month. Really helpful, polite and very professional. Well done Ganesh. Will I tell my friends? 10 out of 10 I will. I don’t care if the free bet wins; I won.PS. I dropped from 5 stars because I was virtually driven insane by the virtual assistant.

Having placed a bet on the FACup Semi-Final after a saw their advertisement about pay out after 90 minutes on Sky and heard it on Talk Sport I was amazed when BetFair did not settle the bet as per their advert, as I saw something was wrong I cashed out my bet, which I had to confirm but after confirming was advised something had gone wrong. Amazing that BetFair welched on both bets. Shame on you Betfair. BetFair claimed that the advert was never shown and that the CashOut was closed two minutes before I confirmed. Absolute rubbish.

Long wait, but constantly kept notified. Polite staff.Chelsea passed me to Sandeep in customer services and my problem was then quickly resolved. I had made a simple mistake and needed a refund. My plight was understood and my stress was totally lifted by a happy resolution. Thanks Samdeep.

Banned on business grounds for absolutely no reason. I asked for explanation, I provided all the requested documents, nothing I can do more. They closed my account without explanation, It’s pathetic and cowardly of them.

Terrible customer service. Like as poor as it gets. I work in a helpdesk and I’d be disciplined for some of the tricks their team do. Transferring to closed depts, not replying until 2 mins before end of shift, closing chats while you are still talking and refusing to put you through to managers. Shame, I joined in the 90s when it was new and its a great concept, but seems to have just become a milking machine. Friend of mine wanted to back, then lay England for Euros. They took the back bet, then suspended their account, meaning she was left with a 5 k liability that she couldn’t exit. All in the name of ‘Safer Gambling ‘. Actually guaranteeing a potential epic loss…to make her ‘safer’. Shocking, with zero flexibility despite the situation being explained to them over literal hours on their terrible chat service. Totally lost their way. Be very careful with these guys

Avoid this company, they will not pay your winnings, lie multiple times about the transaction codes and even communicate wrong ones. They will keep asking more and more documents and then they’ll block your account. My lawyer will have a lot of fun soon with them.

Issue with market options not displaying which were the previous day. 10 minutes on the chat I was assisted promptly and had my problem resolved by a betfair agent who sent me a link that had the missing markets and I was able to place my bet

I am absolutely disgusted, closest thing to a SCAM company there is whilst skirting the line of legality. Played with a huge variety of online casinos in the past and NEVER once had trouble withdrawing. Usual KYC checks, document submissions etc.Made an account with Betfair, didn’t use any bonuses. The first time I have EVER played with them.I made a couple of deposits and sent over my documents. After playing for a few hours, I won some money and decided to withdraw. They quickly tell me that they need additional documents- sure. As of writing this review, I have submitted the following;Dated bank statements.Residency document.Passport.A photo of me holding my passport. A photo of the back of my physical bank card used to deposit. And it’s STILL not good enough for them and they are refusing to verify my account. WHAT???????????I’ve opened banks, credit cards and loans easier than I have done then withdrawing a few hundred quid from Betfair. I’ve emailed basically Betfair email I can find. I raise it with live chat, who close the chat down every time it has been opened. I’ll update this if I do hear back from them, which I don’t expect. Conclusion: Do NOT give your money to this company. They will find ANY way to not verify you.

Disgusting customer support. Was having issues with a particular number on my computer and accidentally locked myself out for entering the wrong password several times. Six weeks later and after plenty of emails later the charlatans still haven’t contacted me or resolved what should be a simple problem to rectify. Steer clear as there are better Exchange options out there. Can’t give them no stars so they get o0ne through gritted teeth.

My account was suspended earlier this year on the issue of self-exclusion. I have never self-excluded from any Betfair product (nor from any of their so called betting partners). Despite providing all documents etc requested by them – my account remains suspended despite numerous conversations with their “chat-bot”, various agents and via e-mail. I’m a) still none the wiser for the actual reason for my account closure and b) at no point have I been informed as to the whereabouts of the £ that was in my account at the time. Betfair’s customer service in this case has been an absolute disgrace – unfortunately it is almost impossible to take things further with them as you keep having to go right back to the start everytime you contact them!! As a comparision I had a small issue with an account with another betting exchange company – this was resolved via a chat with a real person in under 5 minutes!! My issue with Betfair has now dragged on for close on 5 MONTHS!

Not a great experience with BetFair especially as it cost me £820.In the weeks before the FA Cup Semi-final they posted adverts on SkySport and TalkSport to the effect that your bet would be settle at 90 minutes if it was beneficial to the punter. My bet was a winning bet at 90 minutes but BetFair did not settle the bet when in the additional nine minutes the result changed but BetFair did not settle the bet.Years ago betting was honourable unfortunately BetFair has shown themselves to be a DISHONEST Company by WELCHING on a bet. Shame on you Betfair.

This company has totally dishonest. When I joined BetFair everything was fine and I after confirming my email etc I was authorised to continue through to the site and play the games . I won just over £10 so decided to withdraw the money and make sure everything was ok. As soon as I tried to withdraw my account was suspended and I have to produce identification to unlock my account and withdraw the money. I contacted them as I don’t have any photo identification except for my voters identification card but they won’t accept that. I am in the electoral role and the bank account I have registered in BetFair is in my name and registered to the same address given . When I have joined other betting sites I am usually automatically approved as they can confirm I’m over 18 and am a real person by searching my name(electoral role, banks etc). I thought maybe this was one of them occasions when the computer just picks someone randomly for extra security checks. Unfortunately it seems that BetFair regularly operate this way as a relative of mine signed up and had win £16 . When he tried to withdraw the money it kept changing from withdraw to deposit!!!! How and why does it do that. After being told he had been confirmed to participate in the site as soon as he requested his money his account was suspended until he provides identification again . However no identification was required to play the games and gamble . No identification was required to deposit funds but as soon as you try to withdraw that’s it account suspended until identification documents are provided. If there was any uncertainty about a person’s identity shouldn’t it be checked before being allowed to gamble . I don’t even think they’re worth giving one star but I can’t write a review with zero stars

I moved to Australia from the UK and had to open a brand new account as you can’t switch the currency over… This wasnt a huge problem till I was faced with a ban on my AU account. Phoned them up to just be told it cant be reversed and is a permanent ban. I have used the UK Betfair for years and never had a problem. Very annoyed to be honest!
