Run by typical stupid, greedy white people. UK bookmakers and exchanges are unscrupulous in that they will close/limit your account or stop you from betting in some way if you dare to win.

I don't know why they call themselves betfair because fair they are not. They have put me on a "premium charge" and want 20% commission. That is ludicrous. Goodbye and good riddance you bunch of numpty clowns.

It is a NO WIN – NO WIN situation. Either you lose like 95%+ of all gamblers or you win a few thousand and are stopped from betting. Stay clear of betunfair.

Betfair have suspended my account and are withholding my access to funds because I cannot provide them with a picture of my ‘Apple Pay Card’ that I’ve used to make payments to them with. Yep, that’s right an Apple Pay Card. The customer services rep seem wilfully ignorant that such a thing does not exist, and don’t seem to be aware of the mechanics of Apple Pay. Reading the other reviews on here I can only conclude that Betfair are now rogue and best avoided. If you use an exchange try Smarkets, Matchbook or Betdaq, anyone but these gangsters.

4/1/20… Kempton 4.40, Love my life 5/1 on course and the exchange had it at 10/1 right up until the off.All the appalling odds on the place side of the race in extra place races only started to appear when Paddypower bought Betfair about 2 years ago.How you would permit a bookmaker buying an exchange with all the possibilities for abuse that entails i have no idea.It is about time the monopolies commission had a bloody long hard look at what is being done.

Once again have just had the most pathetic customer service EVER. They have suspended my account because I was talking about the bad year I have had with personal issues losing my Job at end of year and son and ex partner who has Huntingdon's Disease. I was querying a loyalty bonus that was offered as didn't get a payment i was expecting today and wanted see if I could use it Monday or something and this cow decides to Suspend my account because I tell her about a few personal issues! Absolute p*ss takers they are

Went on a football match on the exchange it got abandoned at halftime , betfairs rules state if not played within 3 days you get you stake refunded , nothing happened got in touch with customer service , well if you can call it that ,they asked for my bet id , looked for it it had disappeared but my first half bet which I lost on was still there have bet fair got the rights to steal your money they should be rebranded betunfair , it's about time everybody boycott it for a week let's see what happens then

Placed a bet of £100 total return was £130. Money is taken out of my bank instantly but withdrawals take 2-5 days. Typical of these sites. I asked why and told it's the way it is! I bank with Lloyds. I'm informed if I banked with HSBC, BARCLAYS it's same day. What difference does my bank make if it's a major high street bank? It's time these online sites were ordered to pay out as quickly as they take the stake.

Why does it take so long getting Betfair to transfer money/winnings bk to your bank 😕😕 ??? Befair is pretty much a 364 day operation and most banks operate the same…n if it's possible to deposit at a weekend either to Betfair or for friends and family into our bank account….why does it take Betfair 5 days to make this transfer…not happy at all…Betfair do a fast cash transfer but only with 3 UK banks n guess what my bank is not one of them…it's all in betfairs favour n try contacting them about it…they dangle you with an agent for ages…so fellow punters beware 😢😢😢

I USE THE EXCHANGE MAINLY….. Best site for liquidity and choice of markets. Low commision now with the 2% option. Plenty of in play options. Very speedy withdrawal of funds into your account within a couple of hours. The best exchange around by far. I have tried others namely Betdaq and Matchbook but BETFAIR is by far the best.

I went on the slots in a moment of madness and almost couldn't lose. Racked up £400 and then it was just as if the browser feed changed and every game just eats money. I might be wrong but I reckon they weight winning for new players to draw you in and then farm you. Like the guy below who said he won free spins on the snow globe and got £57, that's the hook I reckon. Take that cash and walk away.

This is because no 0 available, i deposit money £1400 win £420 and guess what? Account suspended as well as bonus money was not inplay so available is £1400 and all the winings stripped off whaaaat? Betfair Exchange scam. Betfair exchange customers should know that Betfair do not not necessarily refund or void
bets were a goal has been disallowed in a football game. Recently I bet on a football game the score was
score was 2-2 at the time .it was about 10 minutes before the end of the game a goal was scored making
the score 2-3. Betfair suspended the betting which is usual.
a short while later Betfair unsuspended the betting,
I laid the draw the odds were 4.2 the bet was matched, within 60 Seconds the goal was
disallowed betting wasn't suspended this time, just in an instant the odds went back to were they were before
I put the bet on which was around and 1.17 giving me an instant loss over £150.
I thought the bet would be void but as I later found out
From customer services Betfair do not void bets unless VAR is being used on the game.
I thought this was completely unfair, I can only bet on the displayed odds.
I since found out that VAR was actually in use on that particular game.
A video of the high lights had been posted on youtube. it clearly shows the referee using
VAR and signalling to the crowd to tell them a Var decision was being made.
I contacted Betfair customer services and sent them a link to the video.
unbelievably betfair said that I was correct VAR was in use in that game.
But VAR wasn't used in that particular decision it was ruled off side by a lines man.
so betfair will not refund your bets if a football game doesn't use VAR,
they will not refund your bets if a goal is disallowed by a referee or linesman and VAR is not used.
this is a disgrace and they should be letting there customers know this.
I did ask Betfair why dont you wait for official conformation of a goal either
way before unsuspending a game that would solve the problem.
I was told it would lead to longer market suspensions,
which is one of the biggest complaints made by customers.
so Betfair do not wait to get official conformation of a goal.
this sounds like a scam to me.
is this even legal?

Endless promotions and win I happen to win something worth pence it never seems to work. That 1 free spin superman is not working on iPhone app or safari same as similar previous competition last week. They give very little away and when they do it’s not working.

I’ve been on Betfair for a couple of years and have won and lost which is fine. But recently I have noticed that when I have or should have a cash out normally towards the end of game it either goes blank or disappears. It has cost me a couple of hundred pounds in the last week, I believe this is deliberate and there is nothing you can do about it. I’m going back to the online bookies where the odds are no different and at least I’ve never had a problem cashing out.

Betfair is fun to play if you are bored and don't mind losing the money you put up. The slots suck. specifically double diamond. Because there are NO BIG WINS even though they call it that when you win $162 after playing $100. YOU WILL NEVER SEE 3 double or triple diamonds. TRUST me. Also, what the heck is that damn red 7 for? It pops up every now and then, makes this loud MISLEADING sound, like something big is about to happen, and then, poof, it's followed by unmatched symbols. Like really, what is that red 7 for in double diamond? Anyway, I still play, because I'm willing to lose the couple of dollars that I put it in, but honestly after so many years, and deposits, you would think, that I would have at least one MAJOR win to write about, as BETFAIR collects millions of dollars on a daily basis from people. Terrible customer service after my husband died. If you have a relative die make sure you get the money out of their account before you tell Betfair. They say you have to complete an intrusive indemnity form and get it signed by a solicitor or bank before they will give you the money – but they stop your online access straight away. This was for £8.70 and I refused. They want more info than other bookmakers or even banks. Made a really bad time worse dealing with them!

Wow. I have played literally thousands of spins on the arcade game 'Bonanza' without a bonus. The advertised RTP% really is an absolute scam. Apparently this (the RTP%) is a number based on 'millions of spins across the board'. It pretty much means that you aren't receiving the specified and advertised percentage. How can the ASA and UKGC allow such misleading and false advertising? I realise that some players need to lose to allow others to win, whilst keeping the profit margin, but I feel totally cheated and the customer service is beyond a joke. Shameful… on a number of occasions I have placed football bets and it transpires that the quoted score was wrong, my bet was therefore a waste of money. Betfair comment that at the bottom of the website they have a disclaimer saying you cannot rely on the accuracy or timelines of the data! what a shocker… so they will happily create odds (often attractive) based on live feeds, take your money and then abdicate any responsibility !! that's like a retailer selling you a blue jumper and a red ones turns up and they tell you tough, you cant rely on what it looks like on the website. NO REFUND. Very poor…. why isn't there better regulation!!

My account was fully verified. I deposited £12 & I won £272.25
When I requested to withdraw my funds (£272.25) about an hour later betfair closed my account without withdrawing my funds.

Awful and exceptionally greedy. If you play for fun and dont mind losing money – this is the site to go. If you do what you do in hope for profit and try to be professional – avoid this site no matter the cost. This company is taking the Michael out of me. I've had a complaints now ongoing for over 4 weeks. Now more are building up and they just keep messing me about. Also sending me offers that don't exist and removing cash outs on Exchange horse races on ALL races!
I can't CASH OUT too now on any UK horse races on exchanges so they making sure they stiff me over
I've also had my bets not showing up on exchanges tonight too!

Started going downhill soon as they rolled out the sports book and merged with PP
They know they have the monopoly with the exchange compared to the others so they don't care
Can honestly say the worst customer service I have ever encountered and that's coming from someone who used to have a Betstars account.

You call them up and they are laughing , you can hear the games in the background and struggle to speak English. I've been promised a call back so many times never happens and of course you can't talk to a manager as they are way too busy and important to talk to customers

Add in problems with the site especially live video feed which is always failing (but is never their fault )and they're lucky to get a 1

Talk about running a company into the ground though total arrogance and incompetence.

Simply Betfair is the worse out there

As I began to start winning on the horses i took one at 5/2, it won at 8/1. no best odds giving. Another one was 16/1 it won at 25/1.

After 2 hours trying to get a answer of live chat, they said they had the right to not give me the best odds. Even as it’s clearly states it will on app. apparently they can refuse because they feel like it.

And let’s talk about the live chat, it’s scum they treat you like a dirt bag. And leave you for hours and twist the conversation, it’s a Horrible organisation, one the worse I’ve witnessed.

You’ve been all warned. These shady fu&ks will go to extreme lengths to not give you your fair winnings.
