My account got closed down for no reason.I won £8 and decided to withdraw it as a gift card for the first time. I never received it and a minute later I get an email saying my account had been closed due to "business grounds"? I contact customer service, assuming it was a mistake. They told me it's not up for revision and they won't even tell me what exactly caused them to close it. I wasn't even given my money or the gift card. Scam much?

Literally cheated me out of winnings on the exchange.I stuck £30 I had left in my account on Midtjylland vs AEK Larnaca when it was 0-0 at odds of like 2.38. Larnaca then went ahead, so I deposited and threw something of a hissy fit and stuck £70 on Midtjylland at 28.0 chasing my initial loss. Stupidity aside, this happened, I can afford to lose both £30 or £100 at the best of times so having had a crappy day before this, didn't care in the slightest over a £30 or £100 loss. Anyway, I use Bet365 to watch games as their website is much better for this than Betfair, 365 were offering around 20.0 at the time I matched at 28.0, matching at odds of 28 when "normal bookies" like 365 are at 20.0 is pretty standard.£70 on 28.0 was accepted, 2-3 minutes later Midtjylland equalise. I take £250 back at around 4.0, meaning if Midtjylland go on to win I'm around £1100 up, if they draw or lose, I'm up £150.Midtjylland get a corner, betting is suspended. I actually get my hopes up I'm winning over a grand with betting being suspended while "my team" are taking a corner. 365 doesn't suspend, nothing particularly out of the ordinary really.Boom, 5 minutes later, the bets post 1-0 that give me profits between £150 and £1100 are VOIDED. NO Good reason. No suspect VAR events in the game, it's a CL qualifier so not a "massive" game, but also not some 5th tier Icelandic match where anything suspect could actually have taken place. 365 odds reflected the Betfair exchange ones more than fairly. Worth adding I could still have cashed out for over £300 when this took place. Worth adding that 35 minutes later these bets still hadn't settled, something clearly went wrong on their side.If you can't trust a Bookie to honour their bets, especially on an EXCHANGE where the odds are against other users and bots, they're beyond worthless.

I’ve used Betfair for nearly 10 years and I trust them. Do not accept ANYTHING that automatically entails wager requirements. ALSO, before you play, call them to make sure there’s nothing THEY need that might stop your winnings being sent to you. Apart from that, good luck and don’t cry if you lose. Learn perfect strategy blackjack for your best chance.

this company should be investigated by the government. every government of every country in which this game site is allowed to trade. the founders Andrew Black and Edward Wray should be taken to court and forced to pay back all the money they have stolen from their customers then given a life sentence, prison should be one in a country where there is no such thing as human rites. this would be Justice at last after the way they mugged their customers with any luck then god could just smite them dead.

Scammers and Charltons! Kept my winnings and wouldn't put it into my account after 2weeks. Betfair Closed my account and kept the money. I followed the complaints procedure fully but to no avail from betfair. I've also complained to resolver and the ibas but still to no avail. Betfair have stole my winnings and I'd never use there Betting site. Beware of this!

Generally poor all around. The user interface doesn't refresh enough - bets are matched but don't refresh. When contacting support about this they blame 'technology'. The commission is too expensive. They have a daily free game on bingo but it hardly ever wins. I cant find my bets in the interface after I have placed them. I would recommend Matchbook or Smarkets any day. @Betfair - you need to pull your socks up!

I'm passed from one agent to another on five different agents. they all say were transferring you to safer gaming. I wish I could upload screenshots of the conversation. After 1 HR waiting I get to a safer gaming agent, THIS IS WHAT IT SAYS, I have deposit a total of 250 pound and withdrawn 600 on this account and due to this recent activity you have to now provide the following. PROOF OF ADDRESS, PROOF OF AGE, PROOF OF FUNDS. My last 2 wage slips, MY LAST 3 PAGES OF BANK STATEMENTS, 2X UTILITY BILLS and proof the bank I used is mine also a picture of me holding all this information ????, and once I've sent all this and it's been verifed I have to undergo a full safer gaming interview ?? people think this is fun. I come to play. drinkings bad for you but the most of people do it. Imagine going into a pub and being told I have to prove I'm not an alcoholic and can only a pint if I provide 3 negative drink tests! I immediately went to self exclusion perminantly.

1). Backed horse for place. Betfair exchange froze unable to lay back bet from begining of race.site only functioned after race finished.2). Betfair uncontactable to complain and demand reimbursement for their site failure that stopped layback of place bet. So what occured ?I backed Lionel for a place in Irish Derby. Realised 100 yards in a bad move and could not lay the horse back to nuteralise any loss on the bet. Their site did not show the bet as matched nor did the "My Bets" feature show any bets open or matched but my balance was reduced by the value of the bet of £5.For the rest of the race I tried to get a lay on the horse but their site was not working on this market- jest no response. At the race end however the bet showed as matched. As I said throughout the race thier site denied me the opportunity to lat back the bet. I lost a fiver.Miffed at their site failure I tried to contact them about 30/50 times on the only method they provide- thief useless and totally ineffective contact us button (with the great Mickey tacking lie "the quickest way to contact us"). Great joke on your customers Betfair. They are impossible to contact in my experience on their so called contact button. I do not know how to get hold of this company. Contact button that does not work. No phone number. No email addresses. This is obviously deliberate on thier point because customers will give up and this of course keeps complaints down. I think maybe the industry regulator should look at this issue. Betfair are pathetic in the access they allow or give to their customer who experience problems. I have been a betfair customer a long time but they have slowly but surely deteriorated as a bookmaker. BOG on multiples has gone and prices are shorter than elsewhere with the mask of a boost which only then raises them to other bookies prices. Profit is king now it seems, it's a shame

This company stole £5.500 from me after i accidentally self excluded from what i thought was only slots and casino which i had never used on the site. They refused my explanation that i only intended to exclude from slot/games even though i had almost £100 in credit in the account and £5.500 in live exchange bets placed months before the event,Ask yourself who would deliberately self exclude with £5.600 in their account it was simply a technical mistake to try and close off the casino/slot part which other bookmakers do.By not listening and Refusing me the opportunity to cash out with a significant profit and forcing me into a total loss situation even though multiple emails phone calls i made they refused to listen to the terrible predicament i found myself in and refused to void or return my exchange bets, The stress i have suffered is beyond belief and this company is an abusive uncaring unlistening online monster,I had an account with them for 15yrs with no problems before whatsoever and they cited falsely protecting me even though they clearly caused me a catastrophic loss, I have to take these people to court now as they are now since paddy power took a majority shareholding a total disgrace.

The sportsbook has worst odds out of everyone. The exchange is rubbish and full of their own bots and has 20%+ premium charges if you dare to win.Add to all the above that the customer service is non existent. There is no telephone number and no email address available to contact them if you have a query. All they have is a live chat hidden away staffed by foreigners in some far away European country who have little to no idea about anything at all related to the betting site. This company is owned by Paddy Power so best stay clear of them aswell. Believe me you'll end up tearing your hair out or lose all your money or both. They never take responsibility when the exchange goes down, which is a common occurance and means you are unable to trade out. All in all I would stay as far away from these as you can.

Allowed me to place a 6 fold bet this evening then 10 mins in 1 selection goes void when i have checked the match played yesterday so i should never have been able to place it and it shouldnt of been displayed on site go into live help by the time ive got past the bot and speak to some one there said we will void the full bet for you it voided for a few seconds then came back on now how conveniently no one available in chat talk about a drastic service daylight robbery

Have some OK sports promotions but stay away from their casino games. Play like they are totally rigged seen some crazy number sequences like a number you haven't got coming out on the roulette 6 out of 7 spins they just laugh when you complain saying its bad luck. If it was the other way round they would void the game and say malfunction. Make your own mind and use your common sense leave their games well alone

1 star is still far to many, absolute thieves, if in the rare chance you do win anything, be sure when you play again it will take everything and some straight back off you and then will be an age until you remotely have a chance of winning again any time soon, last £100 I have put on, just spins through, even if you call their customer care, you are told a script of how they are "fair and honest" which is really not the case, if it gave you a game and let you have a little and took a little and you decided to gamble it and lose, then fair enough, but when your not even given a game and you just watch your money spin through....that is not fair and the script they give you just shows they are not honest, even if its their fault i.e a technical problem, I had spent £60..spun through, game kept crashing. I was told there was an error on the site, so I should of got my money back, but was offered £3 bonus to use on the faulty site ?. I work in the industry and can say in 10 years in the business, I have never seen a company where customers just lose and aren't given a game as much as you do with this site. WH is slowly, but surely on the decline. Over the past few weeks, I have experienced the following: 1. Interruptions during live streaming of dog/horse racing - effectively missing the race(s) I’ve wagered on2. Winning bets voided because they were placed after scheduled off time 3. Opting into daily promotions only to find that the “free bets” weren’t always applied automatically - meaning I had to waste more time chasing this up through live chat4. Extremely poor customer service when contacting WH through live chat. The initial Will robot is a joke and the service agents leave a lot to be desired. Very little compassion/sympathy on display and it’s almost as if they could’ve give a hoot. All in all, an extremely sad state of affairs. WH are a million miles behind some of the leading lights in the industry. Needless to say, although a loyal and frequent customer, I don’t feel valued and will be leaving for pastures new. If WH don’t care, why should I??? Their loss!!!

I have been playing at betfair now for about 8 months and this is what I have to say, at first you get a few okay wins to reel you in so you think your going to hit a decent win but that soon goes down the shitter! Closed my account, reason being is that was 'a security issue', customer services do not get any more information to give you than that. There was no security issue, they just wanted to close my account & keep my money. They can do it to whoever they want, whenever they want & claim 'security issue'.
