All they do is tease and take my new name for them. If you win they take back triple the amount. Spend £300 to get 200 free 10p for a win of £10 if you’re lucky that is. Not a good bonus looking at those odds. Doing well then suddenly connection is lost down hill after that. Only good if you want to spend money as believe me they know how to take it off you. Shame they don’t know how to give the bonus like they know how to rob you. Believe wish I’d never joined this site. Plus no easy way to leave the site. Not an option in there help section. Avoid by all costs absolutely disgusted with this Book maker so I opened an account a week ago I had an account with Betfred 3 years ago and told them to close it for Emails to prove this. So set up new one they let me deposit a large sum of money for a week then I get a win they straight away close it saying I already have another account which I told them to shot down I have £1500 in my account they let me deposit 2000 with out any checks at all now there thinking they can keep my winnings absolute joke seriously the worst bookmakers I have ever used will go further with this as they done no checks etc at the start let me deposit money for a week. FOBT roulette, once the ‘pre-gamble’ is activated for bets over £2, is basically a compensated slot game with a roulette feature.In a casino, the house can, in theory, lose. The late Kerry Packer was one such example of a player.This house potential win/lose is not true of spin bar roulette. Bookmaker’s like Betfred cannot lose over time operating spin bar roulette. The truth is that the spin bar examines, through programming, the outcomes from the wheel in terms of the number and what the players win/lose and manipulates the bar outcome accordingly for the next virtual wager in order to guarantee the margin. That’s why a £8 virtual wager (more often than not) costs more than a tenner. Its not just variance. Someone got a win, another player pays for it, to maintain the percentages. That’s a bad principle for a casino game, but its true. There will be no tray of sandwiches etc., but a player could have a bacon butty from the nearby coffee shop I suppose.Now, Betfred would state the game percentages are ‘regulated’, that ‘its 100% fair’ and ‘we are looking to improve out customer service’ etc. It isn’t necessarily true. A programmer for Inspired told me the edge on the wheel is amplified by the bar by at least 3-5% and often more over time, over and above the 7.7%, 5.3% edges etc. that these roulette games run on. (Beyond variance that is). It is not disclosed to the players though. Neither is the length of the cycle upon which the RTP applies. 1000 actual roulette spins? 5000? Who knows. The gaming labs test the games on behalf of the GC, but the latter must understand exactly what the gaming lab has done. The GC can’t regulate the games if they don’t understand them themselves, so lets see. I’m going to send an FOI to find out. It is to include the algorithm details, the £ amounts Betfred retained and recorded RTP over a set time period and more for each game. Whatever the GC end up telling me must be what the ‘regulation’ amounts to. It may take the ICO to force it out of them, but who knows. I may even send the results to a national newspaper and MP’s, gaming charities etc, as I think its all a con in reality. No-one can win over time. Not playing roulette in Betfred.I would strongly advise anyone to avoid playing these games in bookmakers like Betfred, or arcades. Remember also the extra edge(s). I mean, what regard can Bookmakers have for players when a game comes with three zeros, for goodness sake! Stay safe folks and stay clear of the rubbish they offer. BTW, Betfred don’t own the terminals either. They rent them from Inspired Gaming. Renting these bandits for I guess £300-400 a week for four terminals in one shop to do exactly what I stated therein. I won a bonus and the game didn’t load it. Even after sending proof of the game on a screenshot. They said they believed the 1st reel was still spinning. 2 things on this the 1st reel stops 1st as it was a 3 reel game. Even after saying this they then said they couldnt see me playing game at that time. So I have a look on my accounts t and shock it doesn’t let me load that day to show my games played. Terrible sportsbook, cash out feature never works its awful, the layout is terrible and much less convenient than other sites, the wait times for live chat are outrageous and the customer service is not helpful in the slightest.The casino is okay but lacks variety compared to other sites.I would spend my money elsewhere, Betfred is a terrible site/app to use in this day and age, its stuck in the past.

Great offer deposit £10 to get £50 free bets but the Betfred app is the worse I have ever used. Trying to use your free bets is complicated, still have £20 to use but every time I try to place a bet it keeps requesting for me to deposit more funds. Betfred closed and retained my funds earlier this week. Having complained, I was informed by Ellie in complaints that they reserved the right to withhold my funds but agreed to transfer an amount of £300. I am still looking to protest this, however, to-date, the £300 is still to be transferred and my follow up emails have been ignored.I find it highly suspicions that my account was only closed following a string of successful bets (horse racing) over a period of 2-3 weeks or so. No action had been taken against my account prior to this.
