I have been using Sky Bet for over 2 years now. I bet on football most days and have won numerous times. Never once have they not paid out and the transfer is instant. Compared to the other gambling sites I find Sky very professional and easy to manoeuvre around. So far I’ve not encountered any problems.

I deposited £50 into my sky bet account and the next day checked my bank account and sky bet have taken a further 5 payments of £20 each leaving me £100 short in my bank. Just spoke to crist j on skybet live chat I ask about gaining access to promotions and free bets he informed me I had to send in bank statements and wages slip which I don’t understand as I asking about free bets skybet are fine with me betting real money there not ask me for a thing complete con artist there hide behind safer gambling not allowing you to take part in promotions and free bets but if you want to places a bet with real money there no restrictions there lots of good betting site around I will join one of them I advice all to do the same

24 days has since pasted since I thought it was a good idea to open a new account for the Grand National on the promise of bet £10.00 and get £40.00 worth of free bets.I placed £10.00 bet ,my horse won and the account has been suspended since ! I have supplied various id , which I am not happy with ,twice they requested my passport and even today they want it again ! I have spent many evenings/days on live chat trying to get some end to this but constantly being told you will get an email from the verification team .I have been going round and round in circles with no light at the end of the tunnel .DO NOT ENTERTAIN OPENING AN ACCOUNT WITH SKYBET .

Shocking site and customer service need to retrain . I’ve worked in betting shop and would be ashamed of myself if my customer service was anything like these. I’ve been totally ripped off won around 100 free spins and cash when opted into promotion but didn’t receive 1 of them. Messaged sky every day to ask about them not one reply not once. Every day for 2 weeks nothing. Found live chat so tried that spoke to an agent finally who had no idea what I was telling them then quite rudely told me to make sure I’m still online when they come back but hey chat ended ..Tried again was number 22 this time then 24 I know isn’t it . Well finally got my turn only to be told to go and get proof that I’d won anything. I don’t think it should be up to me where am I meant to get proof of winning. Absolute scammers definitely avoid. It’s rare anyone wins on online gambling but even if you win a small amount sky will do everything they can to stop it happening again. Block deposits, close accounts, request personal information that’s none of their business. Customers will eventually run out for these online scammers

For two weeks I have been trying to close an account I didn’t realise I had until recently – couldn’t remember any details. Finally after numerous useless and pointless emails and long waits on ‘chat’ I got an assistant who wanted answers to security questions before he would close it. But these were totally irrelevant and were not security questions as had no known answers to ensure they were correct?? Questions included – did I have a gambling problem, was I in control of the finances I used? Surely these are questions to ask on the opening of an account to ensure gamblers with a problem are being checked out? Shambles of a customer service and not a firm I would even contemplate using again as they clearly don’t want you to leave which is very concerning as they should make it easy to leave once someone has made that decision. Considering reporting this issue as not acceptable!

Tom M is absolutely spot on about Sky bet Underpricing their odds. Ever since they started doing this extra place they are showing odds of at least 2 points shorter than the actual odds. My problem is their Skybet rewards club. You spend £30 to get 2×£2.50 free bets (not £5 anymore) but they didn’t give me mine till I had spent over £35. Also last week I chose a football acca not Bet builder but it wouldn’t change until I got in touch with them to change it. It takes ages to get in touch now and when you do most of their operators are useless.

Worst platform ive ever used! Do not use skybet, bets constantly freezing, wrong stat updates, once I had to wait 60 minutes whilst the cash out function was frozen and should have had a lot of money to cash out on. Been a member for 15 yrs the kind of guy these firms want to keep but tonight as things were going my way Chelsea v Everton. I would award 0 stars if an option. I never gamble but thought we could have a family sweepstake on the grand national. Went through the process and paid a 90 deposit then immediately had my account suspended! I can’t get my money and have been forced to supply private documents in some fake process. The gambling commission are toothless and I am going through skys own 8 week complaints process before I will probably resort to courts and writing to my MP.

I placed a bet on the Grand national for the horse that won at 33/1. Put £2 on to win, at the bottom of the slip it quoted potential payout £68. The horse came in first and sky bet only paid me on the finishing odds 6/1! Absolute fraud. Stay well clear.
