Betfred Review

Gambled in shop with Betfred for over a decade, have made 2 complaints about my experience in that duration, once for being sworn and shouted at (No banter involved) and a 2nd time last week after a catalogue of failures involving bet settlement on their part. After the 1st incident they offered me a free bet of a tenner, which I never accepted nor asked for, this time I received an email where they managed to open with spelling my surname incorrectly (Despite it being clearly visible on my email address). Anyway, a week later and I’ve heard nothing more, as a former “Explicit Standards Manager” in this field I can safely say Betfred, from my experience are comfortably the worst of any high street bookmakers available. The in shop experience is appalling, as a long standing customer I can say with absolute conviction I shall not be returning.

I was allowed to use Betfred even though I was registered with gamstop, I was allowed to bet as i please , and not even asked for any documents and my account was never verified….I have been pointed in the right direction by the right people to take further action against Betfred ….

I didnt understand when joining how to get 3 10 free sport bets when depositing my first 10 by card, like advert for Cheltenham I saw, and didnt get it resolved to my satisfaction. Robert Aitken

Was the welcome 40 offer thought it was just 10 pounds to bet to receive as I’m partially sighted didn’t see it was evens or above in small writing so was left disappointed thanks

Sites very outdated for todays market not very appealing to the eyes at all maybe look into updating a new layout and change soccer to football.

This is a great site to navigate, everything is easy to find. Other sites can be confusing. The results are fast, as are the cash out options.

Dont think the layout of the system is user friendly. Horse racing bets not clear as to what has won etc and a hassle getting into them. Skybet system is much more efficient. You know what position your bets are in with one click of a button

So 3 years ago my self isolation ended with gamstop, I have been using betfred again for a while now however I opted in on a promotion however they didnt give me the bonus. I contacted them and they advised me they were closing my account because Id used the safer gambling tools previously.This is downright disgusting that that they banning players who use the features they have a responsibility to promote.Vile company who have ignored my questions regarding this.Avoid!

For live casino’s its good havent tried others but does need more choice of live games for example monoply live crazy time etc dont really like the cash to chips system i dont see the point of it and could do with faster withdrawal times

Easy to navigate. not the biggest fan of the choice of slots, but Sports betting bit is really good and straightforward. would like to be able to see bet history easier though.

With there promotions they tend to use clever ways not to pay out, such as if you bet on the same race but on different slips they will not pay out on the promotion….other companies are less nasty/obtuse regarding this. They ruined my fun. Dont let them r uin yours. Ask yourself, can you really trust this company. For me it’s a NO!

Joined betfred for the Cheltenham What an awful company.All free bets to be paid out within 10 hours of settled slips. Easy to access and easy to understand. Lots of little offers to give a little bit extra. Quick settlement into my account when I win. I never seem to be able to access the live stream though. I can generally watch the races live on TV.

Customer Services should be renamed Customer Insults. Staff at Betfred are dreadful. Probably trained to extract every penny from punters and use every trick in the book to refuse proper payout. God knows how they keep a Gambling Licence. Avoid.

Sorry Ben but i don’t bet on other countries horse racing only UK and what your saying about only foreign races is absolute tosh.If I wanted to watch a race from either Leicester Warwick Hexham Ludlow anywhere in UK You charge 1 bet to watch it free .Even if I have Spent 5 on A 10 x50p doubles bet on 5 horses I can’t watch any of them because I’ve not spent a 1 bet on that race .Steve Guest ….

I’m a regular gambler to the casino and sports, iv enjoyed my time with bet Fred until last night when I decided to have a go at bingo,, I actually had a couple of small wins, and then it started,, I played a game that was for 1,2,3,4,5 lines, I got 3 lines up and yet game carried on, then prize went to someone else, what the hells happening, is my win not registering?.. Then I got 4 lines up and yet again no acknowledgement, then 5, lines and still nothing, it was like my tickets were invisible, I know I payed for tickets because I had confirmation and if I hadn’t it wouldn’t have auto filled the numbers like it was doing, I estimated wins off 3 and 4 and 5 lines amounted to just over 100,,im gobsmacked this could happen,, 5 mins later the bingo room was unable to connect, what a suprise,, I spend a 1000 a week and this is a drop in the ocean on the bingo site but its wrong what’s happened, this sort of thing shouldn’t be allowed to happen

When I joined didn’t get my free bets down to the first bet wasn’t the stake although i put down on EW on a horse and later on did stake of the amount later that day

The app could do with an update. Sometime when I open the app it gets stuck on finding location which is really annoying. The betslip and cash out screens are clunky and dated and the live scores do not update fast enough compared to sky bet and B365.

After having experienced nothing but loss on this site and after reading some of the reviews, I’m no longer using Betfred. There slots are terrible, they don’t give you that fun factor, people play for fun, your slots are not fun and they can not be regulated by the UK gambling commission, played on the same games but just a different site and guess what we have some fun and little wins, even get the bonus thrown in too. Your customer service is rude on live chat. They say when signing up free bets etc, I haven’t seen or had a free bet or any free spins for my loyalty towards this site been playing since last year and they cant offer you anything, apart from the promos which you have to deposit and play to get some free spins. Where is your LOYALTY BETFRED? 6 months and over and you can’t even offer some free spins/ free bet. I’ve learnt not to be a fool and I won’t be wasting any more of my time or money on this site.

Use 2 methods to deposit one a debit card other paypal.Took deposits no problem then I won an accumulator (only 100) soon as I tried to withdraw closed my account with no explanation. On contacting them they spouted some gumph about 3rd party being involved. Keeping in mind it was the 2 deposit options used umpteen times before the win and withdrawal with no mention. Soon as you win BANG! AVOID. Who protects the user in this instance??

Trick you with attractive welcome bonus BUT when you are not betting with an odd over 2.0 in your very first bet, they say you are not qualified. Even though shortly after, you have placed a qualified bet.Of course they have stated somewhere but it really requires you to be fully aware of such tricky parts in the terms. Huge disappointment

betfred is ok but they get let down by poor layout, too find what you need for your acca is stressfull and you have the chance of putting in selections that arnt even playing today by mistake very confusing and will stop me from coming back for sports. look at williham hill or bet365 the way they do there coupons and you would stand a chance of more buissness.

This site is atrocious. The returns on the games are diabolical and the site itself is about 10 years out of date. If you try to change games you have to log in everytime, the games they offer are very similar and all of them are expensive, boring and very predictable because they start to go slow meaning you are going to get absolutely nothing as opposed to the usual almost nothing. You can easily go 30 to 40 spins without a win however 2 winning spins in a row is almost impossible. A dreadful site that offers nothing to the customer except loss after loss. Definitely one to avoid unless you enjoy getting ripped off.

I opened a account for 1 Day and they blocked the account after wanting , Passport , Utilty bill and a selfie with Passport , I sent this over and recieved a email confirming I had passed all this and my account was ready to use . I tried to use my account and it was still blocked , I called custmer services and I was told they didnt know what it was , Sadly household name with Fred on the TV , But shocking online not half as good as Sky Bet Sadly .
