Ashley from SportingBet… I went to place a bet on the US open, saw that there was an offer and it was bet £50 inplay on the tennis and get £10 free. I accidently placed one of my bets on the ATP challenger after their link to send me to the US open matches, sent me to all of the tennis. So out of 5 tennis matched, 4 were on the open and one wasn't. Ashley was the person I was speaking to on live chat, she was reluctant and not forgiving about my situation. It was clearly visible that I was doing the offer and that it was a mistake, but no free bets were given today. Non forgiving company, awful customer service

I deposited money and after I read the reviews I decided not to play and risk it.
but wait…you can't withdraw… they are claiming and I quote:"we strongly encourage our guests to make deposits solely with the intention of playing and not withdrawing soon after. We have therefore proceeded to cancel your withdrawal request and put the funds back into your account."
whatttt???? I didn't even play, I didn't touch the bonus they gave, but I can't get my own money back?? and they encourage you not to take money out?
avoid!!!!

They have an old fashioned website that you will have to take some time to get used to so it’s not so easy to navigate. I’m sure you all will agree that for any punter, getting good odds is not only important, it is like medicine to a sick person. So that’s why I cannot recommend this bookie to anyone because they don’t give good odds.

when they see that you bet has a good percentage to win, they block the cashout from the moment the second or third event begins and does not unblock until they are lost or almost lost (or the bet is over and you win). I have many tests with lots of photos. last game of ten lost to a goal and after the second game never seen the cashout available. Everything is fine but when it comes to a 85 milla pound bet, you get nervous

Sportingbet which was known as Sporting Odds is one bookmaker that does not usually offer fair odds, however, it is wise not to expect the best odds once you place a bet, because you might just end up being disappointed. It is hard enough for one to win on this bookie, but even when you win, you don’t get a bonus. Deposits and withdrawals can be made using Visa/credit cards, they also support the use of PayPal.

One star rating is too big
A disaster of a company I closed my account in credit there wasn't much in it but they wouldnt return it. If you are thinking of opening an account forget it go somewhere else this company is the worst out there

Scammers, gave me a “welcoming bonus” but because the bonus didn’t meet some condition that I had no idea about (I was supposed to bet additional 200$) it not only waived the bonus but also the winnings from my money I bet!!! The support told me that they are legally entitled to do which doesn’t make it any less of a scam. Stay away from these crooks I was their customer for well over a decade, will never sports bet again.

To be honest i would give zero stars if i could! Opened an account and deposited £20 via paypal. Then i was informed my account is blocked and i have no idea why, and when i went on live chat the staff had no idea either. So i ask for my deposit to be refunded no sir we cant do that as we need to email another dept. Avoid at all costs,

Update

After providing a government ID card amongst other items my account was opened, strangely when i opened the account i was fully verified then a few moments later i was blocked very strange. Anyway after contacting paypal to resolve the dispute threatening Sportingbet with the police after they accused me of fraud they did open the account. All this trouble to place 1 £10 e/w bet!! Account closed and i will avoid all their sister sites

After contacting these people they now claim that they at no point used the word FRAUDULENT, i have screen shots of the chats and emails where they do in fact use the word FRAUDULENT. Do not use this site avoid like the plague

I signed up for sporting bet because on the review site,ask gamblers it was voted no 1 casino deposited £10 was,supposed to get 50 free spins when i started playijg slots i found it hard to believe this was voted no1 they were less than average but within 20 mins,i was up to £60 so i wasnt complaining i then lost the £60 but that was ok still had 50 free spins when i tried to play it said i had self excluded myself.error i thought so went to contact live support but there was none.erm no1 casino no live chat.!!! I emailed and was told i had previously self excluded from a sister site party poker.i dont recall that but if they say so. I asked for my £10 deposit back that was declined. I then logged into ask gamblers to write a bad review. My review was taken down!! Am i not allowed to voice my opinion bit strange. I then logged into ladbrookes which i am a long standing customer couldnt access that site either.live chat informed me that they are also part of the same company which i am not allowed to gamble on.so why has it taken ladbrookes all this time to inform me of this i cannot access sporting bet ask gamblers or ladbrookes now to discuss this matter.i will be taking this further

Avoid big time, if they think you might win, they instantly restrict your account, not a very professional company.

I will be contacting my local MP about this, the gambling industry is now getting out of control, it obviously cannot self regulate. The government really needs to step in here.

Generally ok betting with them but they not very efficient paying any free bets or bonuses out so regarding promotions, I would avoid. Chat staff not very friendly or professional so they do not come across very customer focused. Average at best. OK for a back up sports book but other than that there are much better sports book who honor promotions in a timely manner with more courteous staff.

Terrible company avoid at all costs there customer service even as a VIP is the worst I have ever experienced I spoke to Frances who was terribly unhelpful and could not even track my free bet u should have been given and really wasn’t apologetic or sorry for any of the inconvenience caused. Then said I will give you the free bet to save going around the houses. I said no as I want an investigation and want something for my time and not just an excuse and an easy way out. Again terrible service avoid at all costs.

After signing up with no problems I received a promotional email, bet £20 on the last race at York to receive a £5 free bet. Not a fantastic offer but thought I'd give it a go. Now the trouble is my horse had the audacity to win. I thought great I've won £117 and also a free bet! But alas this did not go down too well with sportingbet. My account is immediately closed and numerous requests for proof of id followed. Then the excuses…. Your passport is 9 years old the pictures are fuzzy this "to me to you" went on for TWO weeks before I'm finally allowed to withdraw my cash. The only way I could prompt a quick response was a threat to report them to IBAS. So what about that free bet I'd qualified for…. Apparently they have now suspended my account which in their eyes means I am not entitled to the free bet. Now I know the issue is only over a measly £5 free bet but my principles tell me that it should be honoured. If this was an honest company they would agree so I'm going to have force them to honour an agreement that took place as soon as I placed my bet.
DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY. READ THE REVIEWS. IF YOU WON THEY TRY ALL WAYS TO NOT PAY OUT.

SB (previously Sporting Odds) used to be my favourite online bookie. I recently placed each way singles on two horses 5-1 and 14-1 along with an each way double. They both finished 2nd. However they returned at 7-1 and 33-1 respectively, therefore just like the other bookmakers I place bets with, I fully expected Best Odds Guaranteed to enhance my returns. I was horrified to see I was only paid out at the original odds. It is already difficult to try and win, but when you do, SB cannot even offer like for like. I closed my account and will now stick to placing bets with ‘fair’ bookmakers who wish to look after their clients.

I moved to SB to bet mainly because my regular bookies stopped doing acca insurance and SB were doing a promotion on acca ins. I placed my bets i had a free bet no problems, then i won 325, the deposit for the bet was made on my prepaid MasterCard (like to keep my gambling separate from my living expenses) and SB said the card wouldn't allow me to withdraw to it, id had this before so knew it was a legitimate reason to not get my winnings. I couldn't remember what previous bookies had done but remember it was resolved easily and quickly, with SB it was a little more stressful. They said just do a bank transfer which wouldn't go through, the way SB said to proceed didn't marry up with what 2 of my banks was saying. I spoke to customer services got through to them easily but i found the 1st representative a bit blunt, not very understanding after a semi heated conversation she said she would elevate a dispute to payments i would be contacted within 24 hours. 24 hours passed no contact so I rang them I wanted my winnings ! 2nd representative was similar in tone imo to the 1st so I said I wanted a manager to call me thats when customer services level raised. Within the hour a manager called and handled everything beautiful and later that day my money was in my bank via PayPal. So in summary if you like me use those prepaid cards check the withdrawal procedure to save stress. I was on the verge of never placing a bet with them ever again but the manager was professional and restored my faith in SportingBet.

Their official twitter account hasn't tweeted since March 2018 (6 months) so don't bother contacting them through that as they won't reply. Their chat service works, but they are extremely rude and unprofessional on it. Spoke to a Christine who terminated the chat before I'd finished. Won't be touching this company with a bargepole and I suggest you don't either.

Total disgrace company! they let you lose, no problem. the let you win a little bit on free spins no problem but oh wait, what's that I won 200 by picking the right horse for once? they are now refusing a withdrawal because I actually won something! what is the point of playing if when you win they are not going to pay out!
Sham company, avoid and go to one of the big boys who actually pay out when you win!

Seriously if you are thinking of joining this company don’t they are a utter disgrace of a company . There live chat agents are rude and the customer service on the phone is not much better. I told them that I was considering closing my account because of the terrible service and tried to switch it that I wanted to be self excluded because I had a problem absolute scummy thing to do. I was told on 2 different occasions a manager would contact me never happened and one customer service agent told me a director would but it never happened. I went on there chat and requested to speak to a manager or even a supervisor 21 times over a 10 day period and was refused and each time told that the manager knows of this situation and he will get back to me only when he comes online he knows nothing. I hope this has helped with anybody thinking to sign up to these but if like them you don’t bother to take trust pilot seriously then I doubt your be reading this as they didn’t even know what this was 🤦🏼‍♂️
