Their website is full of dead ends. They won’t let me withdraw using the same card I deposited with. So I’m prompted to use “live chat“ to figure it out. Live chat is just another name for being redirected to their FAQ which is totally useless. For gods sake don’t give them your money, it should never be this hard to get your own money back in your account. They make easy money off lost bets and then leave their banking system broken in bad faith.

I had a good experience with the betway. I don't know why many customers commenting on it in negative ways regarding withdrawals. I use to get withdrawals on time and they respond in seconds if we request live chat.

I have been playing on Betways site for quite some time now.

First off in the beginning it was pretty good, actually felt like I was getting some decent game play for my deposit even managed a couple decent wins all in all win some lose some, the losses you could argue where my own fault for not knowing when to quit.

I don't know when exactly it changed but fast forward to today and the last year or so and all I can say is what the hell happened to the game play what the hell happened to getting a nice win steak or free spins win, because now I win a mediocre amount and its like all the games go "right that's your lot"

The lengthy withdrawal time was and still is an issue it takes them seconds to take your money but days nearly a week to pay you out.

But now they have gone to even new levels, in their very own words on their website it says they endeavour to pay out winnings to the cards that made the deposit. fair enough.
but then it also says we pay out winning, and then proceed to explain how they work out which card you have used to deposit in the past will get the pay out of your withdrawal.

so in a nutshell, if You make a deposit from a credit card or debit card from your bank account. and you make a win on the money you deposited from your debit card and you wish to with draw that win back to your debit card account, they can and will and HAVE (and I speak from personal experience up to £2750 worth) decide out of nothing but spite to send it to your other card. and then fob you off with oh its how we work it out rubbish.

So my advice don't start, stay away not just from betway but from all of these site you have no chance, those few that do win are but a few and we are legion and the legion are feeding the beast.

Not recomende for anyone… I was play there a few bet and get limited so quickly. Aftere that i was made withdraw request 1062 gbp, i didnt receive my money from 13.01, almost month they just keep my money. Just to avoid, be carefull…

Betway deserves no stars!!!!! The company is ridiculous!!!! Each time you send an email asking status of your winnings it’s a different person responding to your email and they just give you a runaround. It’s crazy how much trouble you have to go through to collect your winnings.
I have provided copies of my, drivers licence, bank statement numerous times as requested and still have not received my winning so far. This has been going on for one month. I believe this is a scam where Betway takes your money but they don’t pay out your winnings. I suggest people reading this review to play with 365 instead who are more reputable and actually pay out your winnings and not just grab your money. I know that is what I’m going to be doing moving forward. I’ve asked for their customer service number to receive a number that is not in service. Poor, poor customer service. Be very careful with Betway!!!!

They have had copies of my passport, driving licence, bank statement and credit card statement and still won’t pay my winnings despite all my documents matching details and dated from Jan 2020! I liked them until I received an email today "We’ve recently reviewed your Betway account – shazzaqueen – and have taken the decision that you will no longer be eligible for any sports promotions.

Any genuine recreational punter is well advised to stay away from this cowboy bookie. You'll not be able to withdraw even if you win on games or pick a winner on the horses; the constant bad reviews from users (1st time) are a testament.

How this cowboy bookie is allowed a licence to trade is scandalous.

If I could score zero stars I would. This company used to be great to their customers. However recently it is pathetic the way they try everything to get out of paying out their promotions to which you have qualified, you waste time chasing for days but to no avail just more time wasting and excuses!!
I am awaiting a call from their management team now for two days regarding my own issues with the company and I would recommend anyone at this moment and time thinking about joining or using Betway stay well clear their is a lot better betting sites out there with better promotions and which are easy to deal with if a problem ever arose!!

Offered a 75 spin and bonus match using a link valid until May 2020. Deposited only 10 pounds to trigger the spins. No free spins.

Contacted support, told no such offer existed, said to send the link – from their own website – and then told me I needed to deposit more. Pointed to number 4 of the offer T+Cs to show 10 pound or euro required. Apologised to me and said it would be looked into.

2nd time contacted support – same situation, send link. Then told I did not click through the link correctly.

They would not reinstate it basically told me I did not do what I said I did.

It astounds me these situations still occur and the offer is still on their website.

I received an email stating my withdrawal of 500$ Canadian was paid on January 20 and should reflect in my bank in 2-3 business days. When it wasn't in my account I sent an email saying it was actually paid on the 22nd and should be 2-3 business days but they again asked for my bank info and history. While I was waiting for my funds on the 27th I sent an email again with my bank info to confirm they sent to my correct bank account they confirmed it was. I waited another day still nothing when I asked they responded it was sent back for invalid route number and will try again. My bank has never heard of an echeck but they keep automatically sending (or say they sent) this method? What options do I have? There have been over 30 emails with 15 different reps and I'm starting to realize I'm getting pulled in a circle

Just a bunch of scammers. Placed 1k into my account and over a week and a half managed to get it up to 10k. Then when i started to withdraw some of it they shut down my account. Wont give any of my money back and wont even give me a reason why they shut me down. Disgusting business practices, take your money somewhere else.

Deposited £4,450, went to withdraw £6,100 and account has been closed by the responsible gambling team.

Asked to speak over the phone arranged 3 calls, all missed by Betway. Then told via chat my account senior management closed the account refer to section 7 of their terms and no funds will be returned.

I placed bets on mainstream sports and used no bonuses. Not only are they holding my winnings but also my stake.

Disgusting company.
Do not use.
Essentially stolen over £6,000 and given no reason whatsoever.

Will contact each company they sponsor, media outlets, ombusman and who ever else I need to.

you may have read my other review and updates just when I thought everything was good after a phone call from Richard well it seems like its amateur night at the palladium!!!.. I'm keep getting emails from a Betway STALKER in customer services who goes by the name ROZARIO. who keeps asking for my passport as photo ID I keep ringing up and telling them ive already sent my paper work through and its all been excepted but low and be hold I get a email at 4am saying send me your passport but it must be in date so I then ring up and spend half hour on the phone telling them what this STALKER is doing and they have confirmed that my photo ID and proof of address has been excepted and I will get no more emails.one hour later the STALKER ROZARIO is back demanding that I send her my passport what is going on is she running a fake passport racket, no seriously this women should not be in costumer services I now have no faith in this site and am worried about my personal information ive sent. I am a high stake player that was looking to change my Bookmaker now I think its safer to stay with LADBROKES. Really Richard this STALKER needs to be kept away from any contact with your customers.UPDATE UPDATE Ok had a call from Richard at Betway who was very understanding and apologised yes that's right APOLOGISED not many bookies do that.so ive been assured the STALKER 🙂 will no longer be contacting me for info that does not concern him and my account. This website LITERALLY stole money from me. I did a bet and I was suppose to win it. I betted +1.5 on Akatsuki which means they need to win at least 1 map in a bo3.

They won 1 map and they entered the bet as "Lost"

After that, I contacted the livechat and they were useless, telling me to contact the customer support by email.

Update 6:48 PM East Time: I never received your "private message"
First answer I get is: "We see it at -1.5 instead of +1.5 in our system, please let me check."

Already a weird response.

I did that right after and I was told to wait 24-48 hours to have a response.

I finally get a response saying I lost the bet with the following explanation comparing my video game match to a soccer match: It was indeed a loss for this bet.

Here is an example:
So, a player has bet on the event of Liverpool vs Man Utd. The player bet on the handicap Man Utd +1. A +1 to Man Utd’s score would produce the same result as -1 to Liverpool’s score. For example, for this event say the score finished 1-1. The player has bet on +1 to Man Utd’s score, so the result for that player is: Liverpool 1-2 Man Utd so the player has won their bet. This is the same end result for the player as if Liverpool had -1 to their score so: Liverpool 0-1 Man Utd (player wins).
The system is setup so it will show the home teams handicap so +1 to the away team will show in the system as -1 as this is the home teams handicap.

I have screenshots of the bet as proof and sent it to them.

They still answer the same thing and they won't help me.

Betway is Fraud and cheat.I playing with them more then 5 years.This january 16 I deposited 200eu from my account, tthey instantly cut 200 from my bank account and still its showing reserved money in my bank account. Again they cut 200eu on 21st january from my bank account without any reason. I go to the bank they said its betway issue, they shuld cancel reserved fund against my account.

I contracted to many times with them through email and chat,they aren’t helping me,even replying me after asking so many documents from me.What should I do? I am thinking to case against them,please suggest me the procedures.

I’ve been trying to get a hold of customer service for 2 days now. I withdrew an X amount of money from the account but did note state how long it would take for it to deposit to my bank account.

How long will it take for it to directly deposit to my bank account?

they say betway is the best for esports.i think it's not. very slow withdraws, the odds are radoms low sh!t, very bad odds, you can find higher odds in pinnacle ,1xbet site, (and they have very fast withdraw time). they bonuses are just for bait purpose. the live betting is very bad, most of times is locked in, the live chat poor, very slow app. This site is been kepping alive by the huge adversments they do, bait and switch.

Agree with a lot of negative reviews on here about Betway , worst Bookmaker we have ever used by far !!! My wife opened account no problem at all , deposited and got free bet , she won, and tried to withdraw 190.00 in total , this was declined and verification was needed , we sent all documents in and withdrawal was still declined , Betway have repaid her stakes but no winnings , disgrace of a firm and avoid at all costs

I have deposited withdrawn many times using betway it's quick and easy one of the better bookies to use I put in 120 pound won a bit and just kept placing bets on horses for Cheltenham ante post market now my total staked on the festival with betway stands at 3400 but over the last couple of weeks have been asked to provide source of funds I wasn't to keen on the idea at first but provided them with the required information they then requested that I provide bank statements again not to keen on the idea but done it once again I've got a mate who owes me money who pays me back monthly there now asking me to provide his information which I can't see being fair and more to the point I'm not going to ask him his personal details reading a lot of reviews on betting companies online course there is always going to be good and bad ones but I have also read how betway are being sued because a man stole from the company he worked and deposited high amounts of money now maybe this is just betway protecting them self but I certainly wouldn't put anyone off using betway sometimes there's a bigger picture anyway will update once I get the response from my last e mail

I have been in contact with this site 30x since December to today and support to get my money back € 340. unfortunately I am unable to do this. despite all documents sent to them for verification, my account appears to be blocked and my documents do not meet the requirements. I am proud that they are keeping people on the line in order to prevent ordinary money from being written off at all. if you create an accound within a few minutes and deposit money into the betway account, there is nothing to prevent you from first verifying your ID. No, only when you win and want to transfer your money back to your own account do you discover that this is impossible, you get into complicated legal disputes and every time I hear an excuse why you have no access to my account. These are just a bunch of criminals, and the gambling committee must intervene and take a license from these people and make it compulsory to give money.
My advice is to stay away from this site.

ik heb sinds december tot vandaag 30x contact gezocht met deze site en support om mijn geld €340 terug te krijgen. helaas lukt mij niet om dit te doen. ondanks alle documenten ter verificatie verzonden naar ze blijkt mijn accound geblokkeerd te zijn en dat mijn documenten niet voldoen aan de eisen. ik feloof dat zij mensen aan de lijn houden om te voorkomen überhaupt gewonen geld af te schrijven. als je binnen enkele minuten een accound aanmaakt en geld stort op de rekening van betway staat niets in de weg ook niet vooraf eerst je id te verifiëren. Nee pas wanneer je wint en je geld wilt terug storten op je eigen rekening kom je achter dat dit onmogelijk is, je raakt in ingewikkelde juridische strijd en elke keer geven zij een smoes waarom je geen toe gang hebt in mijn account. Dit zijn gewoon een stelletje criminelen en kansspelcommissie moet ingrijpen en licentie van deze mensen afnemen en verplichten om geld ferug te geven.
Mijn advies blijf ziver mogelijk bij deze site weg.

Appalling site, closed without notice because I made 400 quid profit in a few months. Very distressing at the time, thought had been hacked but they made a decision without notifying me this. Losers welcome.

Apparently they monitor reviews of this site. Shame cant screen grab but jist of reply states, a decision was taken by senior management to lock my account and it wont be overturned.

As I said, losers welcome. In fact is it possible to have no stars, it doesn't even deserve that.

I think Betway are very fair and offer great promotions but their mobile app is a real let down for me. Simple things like a quick passcode log in like bet365 and betfair do would mean so much especially when wanting to place a bet quickly on the move.

I have wasted 40 min of my time claiming money for a bet that I won and they automatically gave it as Lost!! I think it is not acceptable these type of mistakes for a big betting company.

After wasting 40 min speaking to the support team they reimbursed me the money. You wonder if I never claimed my money… Scary…

Years ago, I got an email saying for no reason at all, I had been banned from getting any promotions, bonuses or free bets. Recently I rejoined in the hope they had bothered to change. They haven't.

I didn't join for the odds, they are some of the lowest on the market. Seriously look it up. I didn't join to give them my money, I joined purely for the promotions. They clearly got annoyed at the fact I kept winning. I'm not exactly a big gambler either. The last three weeks I haven't hit their £25 free bet limit and this clearly annoyed them. Whoever is behind betways customer retention programme seems to not know a thing about, well, anything.

Their loss, I might not bet much with them but that's yet more money they won't be getting. Good riddance.

hello, I want to share the experience of the beta in betway, I do not recommend this company, since I won the amount of money a year and a half ago and did not receive it that way, when they call the company they say that waiting for the money will be 5 years. The company just save the time not paying for me my win .

Used Betway for the first time and I deposited some money to take advantage of the free bet offer but it never came 🙁 I then did win a couple of bets and I decided to withdraw my money. I requested this on 31st December and then a few days later they requested proof of ID and proof of address which apparently needs to be a utility bill or a regular monthly payment type bill. After several conversations and a bit of back and forth with documents, I received my money into my bank account.
Pros
1. Good interface
2. Online chat is quick and easy
Cons
1. Didn’t receive free bet as advertised unfortunately
2. Complicated and long winded registration process – this is after you have deposited with them that is (it takes no time at all to give them money)

Summary:-
They were really slow at paying out – 2 weeks for me (but maybe they are ok if you provide documentation instantly but it is confusing to be fair and just annoying), so with so much choice available for online betting there is definitely easier and more straight forward options out there.
