This is the same! I wanted to withdraw money from my account and it was not possible. I have contacted the terrible CS named Chene who said I can not withdraw money just deposit and blocked my account. I can not get access and just the useless chat. So they took my money and this is it! Never use this platform!!!

It is very difficult to withdraw your money. Customer service is neither responsive nor humane. Inevitably, the impression is that they do everything not to transfer money. Not recommended under any circumstances.

I am honestly shocked by the behaviour of the customer service. I am restricted only on sports as everyone is with this company but not casino. I opted into and completed an offer on casino for free bets for goals and did not receive my free bets. I have contacted them on multiple occasions and the emails I have received are shocking. I have been told I am restricted by all, then told I didn't opt in insinuating I am a liar, then I've been told if I can opt in I can do the offers and so on and STILL this fraufulent company will not honour my free bets because they are insinuating I am a liar when I categorically did in fact opt in and placed the relevant wagering requirements. I will be taking this further and reporting them to their relevant governing body because their treatment of customers is shocking. AVOID.

Great Casino !! Home of Microgaming (To me). Loads of games across all the tabs and I seem to luck out more with sports bets here, I rarely bet on sports. Bit disappointed about not getting any promotional offers for the casino tab, I would visit BetWay a lot more. 3/5 star casino.

i made a 50 dollers interac withdraw with them.1-2 days latter i get the e transfer email but betway did not send me a the password so i contacted thire support and asked for the password they said try gigadat and Gigadat i tried it and it the trasaction locked because it was wrong thanks betway support . and now that im looking to get my money back they are passing me around and playing with me saying ohh we cant do anything contact gigadat or interac to get a cancelled interac back. Very disappointed. I am a vip customer with with both bet365 and betfair, and will carry on using them as my bookmakers. I opened an account a while ago, placed a few bets didn't win and just forgot about the account to be honest. A couple of days ago j recieved an email offering me 150% bonus on my deposit up to £75, a very good offer I might add. So I subsequently deposited £50. My bet lost and was settled, time went by and my 150% match deposit still hadnt materialised. I therefore went through live chat, dear me what a painful experience. My first chat was nearly an hour long, absolutely ridiculous. The CS rep eventually confirmed that I had settled all the requirements but he would have to seek permission from line manager to a credit me with my free bet. As I say after an hour he said he credited it to me. First he put £50 in, I reminded him that it was a 150% match so should be 75. He then said it was in, I checked my account and my bonus said 66% had been achieved,I would subsequently need to wager another 25 before my 75 bet was active. I told him this but he said that the free bet was in and that was that. I disconnected from the conversation and restarted another one, after another painful 15 minutes this bet was rectified and I was able to use my £75. Now my bets for that day where consistent, basically just over on all the russian ice hockey matches, 2 of the matches I was planning on picking ie the next in time format both won, but as I was wasting my time with cs reps I could not place this bet, so I have lost money. As soon as my next bet was of cashout level I immediately cashed out and waiting for my withdrawal to proceed. I suspect there will be issues and time delays with this but that Is what I expect of betway. I wont be returning as customer, very poor service. As I said I'm a vip customer elsewhere at 2 bookmakers so they have missed out a potentially lucrative client. It is shame however, as one thing I will admit during this difficult time there is potential to bet on an array of different esports, markets which are only rivalled by bet365 at this time.

Had 10ew on 11/1 shot using free bets 1/5 odds and they returned me £12?? Should be 22 as with stake would be 32, one meeting running late so as soon as off time reached the race disappears from next races off lol another shambles of a bookie that doesnt match up to the big boys so not much point really, acc closed goodbye!!

Great for sports betting , bet 25 during the week and get 2 x 5 pound free bets every weekend. Competitive pricing and BOG for horses , love the 4 to win horse racing offer too, withdrawel process ok . Needs improvement on its responsible gambling ie needs to have the option of self excluding from different platforms so you can exclude from casino only if you wanted and needs to stop the option of reversing withdrawels, these two things are commonplace for responsible gambling on other sites. I had one issue with an in play bet that was voided after it had won and the money put in my account then taken back out , i was not given a reason or any evidence to support their reasoning for voiding as the price was in line with the score when i put the bet on as far as im aware, i was close to cancelling my account thar night and many people would have so this practice made no business sense on betways behalf as it was only a £10 bet to win £6 . All in all a very good site that could grow into one of the best if it stops its pettyness and looks at the big picture.....

closed account in 2018 just came back to give it another chance and now I remember why I closed in the first place. Lack of bonuses copious amounts of dead spins and when you do get a win the payouts are nowhere near comparable to other sites. No gameplay unfortunately so wont be returning. Good luck everyone

This website is by far the worst. They won’t let you withdraw even after you pass the authentication process, the odds are not comparable to company’s alike. They will keep taking your money until you try to withdraw and they block your account. PLEASE don’t use this account. Gamble responsibly.

It's the best betting company and playing casino. I wanted to give them the highest rating, but because of my attempt with them to reopen my account after my closure because I had a problem with the way they play but they did not agree to my request but I advise all players who want a respectable company to participate in this company

I have been waiting 48 days, and the complaints team (IF THEY EXIST) are apparently STILL INVESTIGATING my complaint below.

Each day I ask customer services for an update by email- I GET NO RESPONSE.

I have been submitting my emails to the two .com addresses below:

Ukmanager@betway
Support@betway

Despite sending emails for 48 days, BETWAY have not responded to a single email which is why I took to Trustpilot.

I have contacted Betway customer services on Twitter, but they just say ‘complaint is being investigated, and they outright refuse to ask the complaints team for an update, nor are they able to provide an ETC.

Despite Betway’s complaints procedure stating complaints will at least be addressed in 5 working days.

Betway seem to be ignoring complaints, hence all the negative reviews on Trustpilot about them.

If a few days I will be able to refer the compliant to the ombudsman.

Did not have effective policies and procedures in place for customers who may be displaying signs of problem gambling. For example, this was because:
A) A customer interaction policy was not implemented until April 2015.
B) Until January 2017, the customer interaction policy did not have a specific provision for VIP customers.
C) The policies and procedures in place did not always prompt effective interactions where customers may be displaying signs of problem gambling
interactions, and decisions not to interact, may not have been adequately recorded.

This led to Betway’s Failure to identify problem gambling behaviour and adhere to the below;
Social responsibility (SR) code provision 3.4.1(1)
Licensees must put into effect policies and procedures for customer interaction where they have concerns that a customer’s behaviour may indicate problem gambling. The policies must include:
(e) specific provision for making use of all relevant sources of information to ensure effective decision making, and to guide and deliver effective customer interactions, including in particular:
(i) provision to identify at risk customers who may not be displaying obvious signs of, or overt behaviour associated with, problem gambling: this should be by reference to indicators such as time or money spent
(ii) specific provision in relation to customers designed by the licensee as “high value”, “VIP”, or equivalent

It has now been 47 days and the Betway complaints team have not yet concluded their investigation, nor are they willing to provide an ETC for the complaint.

I will keep this forum updated with the progress of my complaint which may be useful to existing or previous Betway account holders who may have experienced similar issues.

I dont know what everybody is talking about! I requested a withdrawal several times last month, a total of more than 10.000€. Processed and paid within 24 hours! Wow you guys are amazing Betway! Stop making new users scared and don't point to betway but look what maybe you are doing wrong. Everytime I ask for a refund I am asked additional details. Now that my identity is proven and so is my bank account to which the withdrawal is to be done. I do not see asking any reasons for asking Credit card statements. This is all just to be able to do a fraud, nothing else. They do not want any security and all when we are depositing money, but, do ask for so much of documentation whenever one asks for a withdrawal. I have not played for the last 2 days in Betway because they are acting weird with my withdrawal. And now I wish to be sure about my withdrawal before I play again. Just like the guy below they asked me for ridiculous amounts of ID then started going through my bank statements with a fine tooth comb asking who was who and why I had paid my friend £20. Also wanted to know why I had paid the football club money they haven't the brain capacity to realise it was my season ticket They even asked me about what my bills were for. Talk about intrusive. I've never had so many personal questions in my life. Was easier getting a mortgage. Then after weeks of questions the busybodies and jobsworths decided I was betting beyond my means and closed my account. They think they can tell me how to spend my money?? Good riddance betway.

Betway’s response below apologising and asking me to see the private message they sent me, basically says ‘The complaint is still being looked at’ but they REFUSE to provide an ETC, and refuse to obtain an update from the complaints team

I have been loyal customer and I had spend more than INR of 10 lac through my and my wife’s account. After too much of loss, one I got the winning of 5 lac and I have applied for withdrawal which has been revoked stating source of fund was incorrect and then instead of withdrawal payment Betway paid me only the amount which was made through different source. Finally got an email from the customer service team in regards to my account which by the way is still locked out with my funds still in them. Had sent them my salary slips, I’d docs, bank statements etc. more than sufficient docs pertaining to my source of funds. Guys, please be careful what u send them. They don’t check source of funds as they are asking me about transfers not to betway account but to friends and family 😳😳😳 and why I did them. Even the international bank I deal with do not ask me these questions and it happens to be their account but Betway actually has the audacity to do that. So basically anything to not pay out or stall the payment. Those were the questions I got. This has absolutely left me stunned and disappointed that Betway which at one time was such a reputed company has now stopped to such a level not to let customers access their own funds. I filed a complaint with Betway, via Resolver on March 12th (Over 6 weeks ago). Upon filing the compliant, I received a generic response with the Betway Complaints procedure, which upon reading states a response will be provided within 5 working days. After 6 working days I contacted Betway Customer Services via Twitter to query the status of my complaint, as I had yet to receive any type of response and was simply told ‘due to the nature of the complaint, it is still being investigated’. I used to be a regular client of betway couple of years back and then I stopped as I switched to another online betting platform which I found better and had faster withdrawal. Recently with the whole lock down thing and a bit of time on hand I did a deposit with Betway opened a new account and had some winnings. ( The platform I was currently using was having technical difficulties to log in for clients from my region also betway in 2018 was very good and thus went back to them ) Suddenly while gaming my betway account was locked out, they made no contact with me prior to locking me out and happened in the course of my gaming session.I had to contact their customer service to find out what the reason was. Apparently, my source of funds were pending from last time I used their platform ( 2018)and thus the account was locked out. Fair enough ! I have sent them all details required in fact more than they requested. This was on Wednesday morning.They have not bothered to get in touch with me and when their account manager replied ((after sending them few follow up emails) it was always one generic line “account is under review and operation team will get back to me ” In fact I was the one who is always chasing them to give me a reply. The funny thing is when I made my first deposit and lost that my account was not locked out. It was only after I made the second deposit and was on some substantial winnings that they decided to Lock me out, and then do a review on my source of funds. When I asked them why was I even allowed to deposit in the first place if my account in 2018 was pending source of wealth docs. Their answer was the new account had a new address and email ID thus the system did not pick it up. ( my name, dob, etc all the same ) In these times when they actually should be helping out their clients they are yet to get back to me and held on to all my funds. So please be careful before u use them as their customer service team is basically non existent. If you get into any service issue well then you are speaking with a brick wall. Betway customer service will never contact you. You will need to make the effort and then leave it to their whims and fancies. This is my personal view . Good luck !!!

I am extremely frustrated and upset with the type of service I have received from Betway. Below is the issue I have been facing and unfortunately, the customer support team have not been able to help me with an outcome to my issue. When I took a break, my VIP account manager of that time decided to review my account and the source of funds. Since I had taken a break and since there were no winnings during the time, I had not sent any documents over to him. Coming to the current time, I opened a new account with Betway thinking that my previous account might have been closed. The email and my address were different on this account but my Name, Date of birth and Phone were the same as my previous one. I was allowed to deposit not once or twice but 6 times into this new account and I played and won a bit. I withdrew 3 separate times totalling to £1100. I withdrew this on 15th April 2020. Since then, they realised that they had to review my source of funds for my previous account. Firstly this is really unprofessional that I was allowed to deposit multiple times but when it came to withdraw my winnings, you decide to hold my account and conduct a review. Further to this, I have sent all the documents requested to prove the source of funds to my previous account. I have been sending all documents within no time to your customer service dept. Till now I have sent my ID, bank statements, payslips, P60, personal information, etc and there is still no update from the operations team. I believe this is extremely slow from their end and I am being harassed to claim the money that I have rightfully won. It has been 8 days now and I get the same response from the team. I can also see that lots of other customers have been facing the same issue when I checked your reviews on Trustpilot. I really expect that you should be helping customers in tough times like these and not harassing them the way it has been going.

Laughable. Been with them for about 7 months, lost lots of bets with them, liked to do the Super Boost they offered, lost about 6 in a row, then finally won 2, for a staggering total of about £33, and once I had withdrawn my account was restricted and I can now only use their casino, which I never have. They obviously just want poor souls to become addicted to their slots, not me. Closed my account, stay well clear!

I’ve decided to close it down, The platform and choice of deposits is easy enough, just dreadful gameplay from the start. In my opinion it’s an eye opener for me and also to me it seems casino’s are taking advantage of the stay at home rule.

I have enjoyed my time playing at Betway, my experience has been having deposited £4700. The responsible gaming team locked my account and confirmed my level of spend was comfortable, they then re opened my account today around 10.40, I then played, and withdrew £3850 at around 11.36, yet to receive confirmation this has been issued to the bank, I then decided that having deposited £4700 and withdrawn £3850 making a loss of £850 to self exclude around an hour or so later, having played daily, with the covid19 isolation, which was actioned immediately between I am now just awaiting my withdrawal now I was advised it usually is same day that it would be issued to card dependent on workloads via chat, to receive Friday in my account. I have had confirmation they will pay my winnings, However it’s is in a que, which has been ongoing all day! I do hope it gets processed quickly, I have thanked Betway in an email for confirming I won’t be punished for doing the responsible thing ,excluding myself after making my withdrawal. I do hope to receive my withdrawal this week! I would highly recommend them I have not yet had a problem and hope to receive my £3850 this week. I will of course update my review to give my full review once withdrawal received.
