Ladbrokes: 5/2 for Patrick Thistle to win Livingston and for 3+ goals scored

10 January 2019

Livingston will be proudly hosting Partick Thistle in the first leg of the Ladbrokes Premiership play-off final which will be played at the Tony Macaroni Arena on Sunday evening.

David Hopkin’s team enjoyed a resounding victory over Dundee United trumping on an aggregate win of 4-3 in the semi-final stage of the competition. Yes, they would be deservedly eying a consecutive promotion after taking home the League 1 back in 2016/17.

As for Thistle, they did reasonably well to skid automatic relegation when they managed to pull off a 1-0 victory at Dens Park and now Alan Archibald’s army would be heading into this encounter on a strong vein of form after recording just one defeat in their last five post-split fixtures.

Both teams playing had met earlier on in the first match of the Betfred Cup back in July. It was an entertaining fairly contested encounter that ended 1-1 in West Lothian, Livi went on to secure up the bonus point for triumphing a the shoot-out 3-1.

Fast forward to both teams clashing again this time, injury would be taking a toll on the capacities of the team. Patrick Thistle boss Alan Archibald would be cursing his luck as he has a worrisome injury list on his neck to sort out. As for Christie Elliott, Abdul Osman, and Chris Erskine they have an exciting rating of 50-50 with Stuart Bannigan still shut out.

So who do you think will win the encounter, and are you expecting a couple of goals as well? Ladbrokes is giving you something cool if you think Patrick Thistle would win and plenty goals scored. Talking more precisely, Ladbrokes is giving both new and old customers 5/2 for Thistle to win Livingstone and for at least three goals to be scored in the match. Before now, the odds were 11/4, now it has been generously pumped up. No wagering requirements. The odds are all for grabs so long you are a UK or Republic of Ireland. Are you ready to go for it?
